Thank God for today’s day off. The combination of these games being played late on the West Coast and the
prolonged offense funk, defensive mishaps & inconsistent pitching does not bode well for my well being.
I do not know who is reliable to give Yankee fans confidence to get back on track. Unfortunately, the
season is coming to a close and this team is playing on shaky ground.

you guys are 9 up with 22 to play. Even if we sweep, it's 6 up with 19 to play. I don't think you're a below .500 team, and I don't think we're going to go 19-3.

But I watch every night.

^^^^^I commend you for your optimism after beating the O’s 2 games to 1, all tight contests.
Hopefully, the Yankees will be stimulated by the Washington fresh air. The problem
is you cannot afford to lose 2 of 3. The way things have gone for both teams, we know
    nothing comes easy.

^^^^.... TMI, sorry, can't help myself...

I know, get over the bs game, this is a new moment to wake up, kumbaya???
no shit eh? TG for this day off.

After 17 Wins in 18 gms earlier this yr. After a hot start unseen since 2003,...
Since 1901, 54 teams put up a streak of 17-1 or better (that number grows to 56 if you include this year's Yankees and Red Sox). The last five teams to do so all went on to lose in the Divisional Series. The last team to make it to its League Championship Series was the 116-win 2001 Mariner's feat, whom the Yanx beat, by turning sweet lou into sour grapes.
the last six teams to win 17 of 18 games during the regular season have failed to make it to the World Series, much less win it all. The last team to pull that off was the 1991 Twins.
Yanx won series snuffed the Astros, Angels, Blue Jays, Twins, Indians, and Bosox. Spoiled us all. Worse yet, baBoone and Trashman rested on their laurels. The Team may be self destructing, yet the Post Season some say is a whole new Season?? Hiccup, hope so,....!!! Easy to be disappointed, when all hell seems to break loose.

Last thing a team needs is 2/3 losses losing steam going forward, when great teams arise and catch fire. Hope these guys have saved a breath or best of 5 in a ALDS. Hell gotta make it thru a WC first, no kumbayas no rest for the weary, the great don't slumber....

Of the 54 teams to go 17-1 during the course of a season, just 11 (20 percent) have gone on to win it all. A much higher number (19) have failed to make the playoffs, though no team with such a streak has fallen short of the postseason since the 1987 BrewHaHa's...

I'm still shitting fire after last nights bullshit game.

I'm beyond exhausted with the bs of this team. I'm not singing Kumbaya, and have always hoped for the best. My patience is more than worn thin... tho' I hope for the best, and down antacids thru the night and morning. Who's gonna' step up? Whose going to take the lead. Seems no one is willing to pick the other up, the epitome of Teamwork...

I shit you not, my Little League Teams played better fundamentally, than this ramblin' wreck of pretenders. No ones home at the Wheel. baBoone has no clue what to do; Hal gave the reigns to Trashman, who gave the keys to the hyper car to Boondoggle. Hired- to hide his own Incompetence. Kumbaya, they all 3 rest on the laurels of a self driving Hyper car; that's either needs more gas, or a supercharge ....

A fkng moron could manage this team, regardless of injuries. The A's have 6 Pitchers on the DL, so no need to cry 'bout Judge or DD or El Chapo. This team has no excuse for these pitiful performances.

No discipline at the plate, behind the plate, on the basepaths, or D- on the field....No Mgr to know how to use a BP, burn 'em out, leave 'em to rot. Trashmans Crapuano Express is in the Playoffs, and that bs has grown old. No one knows who will step up take care of business; all standing around looking at the other to step up. WTF is Sanchez doing back.....??? Watching him pass balls of his balls, is an advertisement gimmick for .... ???

Here's an earlier clip at home, a Sanchez moment. Never have I ever seen 4 passed balls in One IP. A historical moment was written. I can't recall 4 passed balls in one game with a knuckler...

1-Sanchez D-??? pitiful, his B'Avg? never mind. Mendoza line moved to the Bronx...
    2- Bird, why's he wearing PS's .197 B'Avg
3- Trashman, Hal giving boondoggle a bent broken PS. No clue how to build a Pitching Staff, et al....
4- Hats off to obtaining these young guns. Are they still green? need more AAA/AA/A time???
    5- Walker .221
    6- Sanchez .186
7- Cutch .063 B'Avg w/Yanx, shit got to start somewhere. His miscue in RF was INexcusable.

on and on yada yada, a New Day hath arrived in Seattle...

the bluest skies you've ever seen in Seattle, and the hills the greenest green in Seattle. like a beautiful child growing up free and wild, full of shit....

    June 1, 2018-
BALTIMORE - Before Friday's game with the Orioles, the Yankees (35-17) reached the one-third mark of their 2018 season - joining the 1998 team as having the franchise's best start since 1959.

"Overall, I’m pleased with what we're doing, but there’s so many things at the margins we can continue to improve on and get better at,'' manager Aaron Boone said of a club that entered the weekend trailing Boston by 1.5 games in the AL East.

"If we’re going to be an elite club, those are the things we always have to be hungry to continue to strive to get better at.''...???
ok, I'm waiting.... what are they supposed to get better at, he never did say???

Hiccup, say what, get better at what????

Mr. Sanchez needs a change of duty assignments for the remainder of this season. If the man could not learn the right way to play catcher under Girardi, then he can't learn from anyone. I'd sit him on the Bench with Bird, maybe as a DH or PH from time to time. Can't say that Mr. Sanchez need time to adjust from the DL, you can't lose what never arrived and he's dangerous as hell behind the dish. If Boner keeps sending him out there its like an accident waiting to happen.

He is such a huge talent. Maybe his bat comes to life and carries us through the playoffs? Either way, he is probably the best offensive catcher in baseball when he's right.

We can't give up on/or stop working on him. It is scary to see those ball's not get stopped or blocked. He's 25. Way too young and talented to not do our best to get him right. Though that might not be until next year.

    ...hey man, welcome aboard !

...just go back to your "signature" page and highlight your signature, and then just use the Editor above the signature box. (you'll see a "B" for bold, "I" for italics, etc., and to the right of those is a button that allows you to change the font color while it is highlighted.

I wonder if they've given him an eye exam lately. He is just not seeming to pick up the ball; or move to it in a timely manner...

I kid you not I'd seriously put Him in a limo and send "em down to the Garden, day in, day out, during the off-season.....

Have the entire Rangers team shooting 4, 5, 6, 12 pucks by Canucks, at a time, seriously....

At present if the Yankees were F

Welcome aboard roywhite6, great screen name honoring a damn fine Yankee Player. Were the New York Yankees Ford Motor Company right now Sanchez is the Edsel, and if I were Boone I'd assign him designated hitter days or as a Righty Pinch Hitter. If they wish to salvage him do it next season. Right now the Yankees need wins and if Sanchez is in there they'll see opportunity knocking. The man has missed too much of the season.
