Not much of a retort. Why don't you tell us your theory of why your services suck?

These are your word, reflecting your view of the world as you see it. Not mine.

The cop isn't walking into my place on some fuck up. It doesn't even take a PhD cop to avoid the error.
Nor do we have 10 thousand of them improving the odds.

We don’t know the facts yet. Could be drunk or on drugs, lock her up. But could just be a really sad situation where she is overworked, undertrained and day to day is super high-stressed situations. I’m not saying she should get off completely but this looks like it could be a result of a fundamentally broken system. I’m not sure, I’ll wait on more information

Stop protecting them. They don't need it. They're pretty good at protecting themselves.

Stop trying to have it both ways.

If cops are regular people, they have regular people flaws too.

How am I protecting bad cops and having it both ways?
I said there are many corrupt cops!
Because I said there are decent ones that do their job right desert mean I'm having it both ways. Its just i used and example of two kinds.

Im a guy that always thought there is a thin line between cops and criminals, the same rush is experienced by criminals and cops.

Once I made perhaps the same error. While staying in an apt. building, I mistakenly went in the wrong apt., one floor off.
Yeah I was about 1/2 way blitzed. Was not armed though and I knew I was in the wrong place damn near immediately.

None of them need your protection. The good ones or he had ones.

Only the ones who exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights. Trusting the government to protect you is Socialism in a nutshell.

Actually reading the opinions of people in this thread are quite enlightening.
We really do not relate to each other well at all. Almost like we are from different worlds.
    More different than alike.

no...trusting a cop with the license to carry to not kill you in your own home is the issue...and cops are assigned this task in all countries no matter what fears you have against socialists...or how you care to define citizens ...this is clearly a case of misuse of the right to bear arms and the responsibility to be a peace officer with discretion....or I don't know...maybe you teach your children to fear cops and carry weapons in the living room while watching TV in the bunker.

River, I am not confused at all. And the differences have nothing to do with a melting pot.
The major difference of view here has to do with the urban city dweller vs the those that prefer a different life which relies far less on police and surely not for protection.

....he'll probably reply the same way as he did with me when I asked him to explain something...he said it would require "too much typing".

...there are nearly 1,000,000 "cops/officers" in this country and every time an isolated incident like this happens it get blown way out of proportion.

...people do stupid shit sometimes and that includes cops now and then. I personally know quite a few cops and a couple are too stupid to have any sort of job but they still have a badge somehow...but the very large majority of the ones I know and have encountered were very good professionally.
