I think I am having one. Took a new suppliment pill today with caffiene in it. I have also had a cupnof coffee and 3 or 4 cups of pepsi today. Doesn't seem like it should be enough. 500 some milliagrams or so I think.

I feel like I am on fucking cocaine. Heart beating fast. Butterflies in stomach. Jitters. My body is shaky. Holy crap!

Dr. Barfo prescribes alcohol for what ails you. And stay away from those pills. They don't actually make your dick bigger like the ads claim.

Alcohol doesn't have caffiene in it! Sweet!

Well, now you have clarity that those pills aren't good for you.

Just because they don't work for you doesn't mean they don't work like a charm for the rest of us.

I’m breaking my own rule about posting in the OT forum, but my advice would be that mixing caffeine (especially if it’s an OD) with alcohol can be very dangerous. Your best bet is to drink lots of water and ride it out.

I used to work out a lot, and the supplements I took had a huge amount of caffeine. You don’t want to mix that with alcohol... Now there’s a good chance it won’t do anything but it could.

Dude, take it from someone who knows first hand. If you keep up the regimen you just described you are going to have Type 2 Diabetes and serious cardiac issues by the time you reach your 50’s. The information is out there. Please don’t ignore it like morons like me did.......the real irony is that alcohol is (health wise) likely less dangerous for people than the Pepsi......

I'm still here. Sorry to disappoint some of you. Drank lots of water and rode it out. Feeling much better. That was intense. Won't be taking that supplement any more.

I accidentally went too big one time, had a raging hangover at work programming a lighting console so I asked my buddy for some pain relievers, washed down 4 extra strength excederin with a giant Red Bull. Alcohol wasn’t an option, so I just rode the wave, man. Far out.

Glad you are better. A couple summers ago I had one of the 5 hour energy drinks for the first time and went through kind of the same thing, early am I usually have 2-4 cups of Java, the 5 hour on top of it did me in.
Wife was ready to take me to the ER.

Caffiene has never had that effect on me till yesterday when I took that supplement. Had a 24hr energy once. It didn't do anything. My wife is more of a stop being a pussy kind of response. But, she'd take me if something was really wrong.

I was feeling better. I had cup of coffee and the feeling has returned. Son of a bitch. Gonna take a complete break from caffiene for awhile

I wouldn't say that about alcohol at all. You don't see people living under bridges or begging at street corners because of Pepsi. Besides, I've got stock in Pepsi so drink up.

Good idea. You don't need it. Go cold turkey. You'll be better for it.

It is probably a good idea for a short while. At this point, I think a bit of coffee is a good thing. I have a pot every morning. I use less coffee making my pot than my daughter inlaw does for a cup. One scoop for the pot, she uses 3 for a cup.

My coffee is weak, like light brown hot water, one quart of it. Then I make a quart of tea, one bag of Tetley gray.
Together, enough caffeine to keep the head ache away and enough water to hold the gout at bay.
Sometimes I add a couple beers to this, but never Pepsi or another cola. Forget the Red Bull.

This thread inspired me to do the opposite last night. Pounded three beers and then took a ton of melatonin. Slept like a baby.
