China has 49 railway routes to Europe. They have a train that can go from Beijing to the coast at 300 mph. Our fastest train is 150 mph and can only go that fast on 18 miles of it's 150 mile route. We should be more afraid of China than they are of us.
WTF? Beijing to the Coast is 62 miles. Most of the trip would be in acceleration and slow down even if it reached but half that speed.
...what did he assume?...seems to me you made it very clear...and are you actually claiming that you do possess anything that was made in China?
The only Chinese thing that I knowingly possess is a bottle of Tsing Tao. Edit: Side Note - This is my favorite lager. My favorite dark beer is Guiness Stout. Buy me either one and I will tell you my life's story coupled with some tears and some hearty laughter.
Not sure what is your question? Yes, I have stuff made in China. I do not need any more right now. Tariff the shit out of them, force them to free trade and fair practices. Perhaps I might find the need for another item from China soon after the tariff have been replaced with a reasonable agreement.
...that's not true...the ( Edited for Lanny) Maglev train can accelerate from 0-150 in about 1 minute...300 mph in about 2 minutes.
The only one I have ridden was Yokohama to Tokyo. I don't think it ever gets up to speed, Though I hear it can hit speeds in that neighborhood. Most of the time is at the stations, with passenger coming and going. Just like the train from Portland to Eugene I rode a couple weeks ago. I am sure it never got over 65 before it was slowing for the next stop.
Sure it is. We sell them little, they sell much. Both of us going to zero hurts the hell out of them. They will not do that very long.
...geez, I just called it "the bullet train"...the one I was referring to is in China. ...but I edited it for you.
I mentioned a 300 mph train, for crying out loud. I also mentioned that it went from Beijing to the coast. I said it traveled at 300 mph. Where did I go wrong? Isn't Beijing in China? What point were you trying to make?
