    "Immature". TV Ratings???
It's actually a good thing he "tweets" because you can perceive his personality through this media.

Trump should worry more about his own ratings rather than trying to destroy the NFL. More pettiness from the weak minded president.

...yup, using TV ratings as the only yardstick to measure NFL popularity?....."Fake News".

Did he say it was the "only" yardstick? Or did he simply point to that one?

He simply went where no president should be going. Trump is obviously still pissed for being denied an NFL team. His ratings have been extremely piss poor and he should concern himself with that rather than something he has no business making the kind of comments he has.

...Trump has pointed to "TV" ratings multiple times.

12 of the 14 home games had attendance of 95% capacity or better and the other 2 games had above 93%.

...you obviously have no idea what goes into formulating TV ratings (Nielsen ratings)...actual TV ratings for the NFL have been going down for several years now. Netflix et al takes a larger share of TV viewership these days...and many people watch NFL games on computers/tablets/phones etc., instead of TV.

Thursday night football sucks, even football fans don't want to watch it. Thursday night has been declining in ratings for several years now and stats show the games are much lower scoring and way sloppier then weekend games, there is a reason the ratings for it suck. Last nights game can be explained pretty easily as well, they are down 3% from 2016 but Aaron Rodgers one of the faces of the NFL got carted off very early into the game. The biggest star in the game and one of the biggest in football gets taken out early and of course people aren't going to tune in if they aren't already tuned in. I personally know over 10 people who have already told me they either turned it off or didn't watch at all because of the Rodgers injury and failed to see the comeback.

...yeah, not to mention that the NFL game coverage has also gotten somewhat diluted because we also have games played on Thursday now as well as having 2 on Monday night instead of only one.

uh, yeah. back when I watched it was often on a computer monitor. Now I don't.
But I asked you watch you use, not how people watch the game.

...don't know what difference it makes as to which way I personally watch games and I don't know where you're going with this...but if a certain team's game is available in my area I may watch it on TV but more times that not, on an ipad or a macbook.
...but we're talking about TV ratings...like I said, that's what Trump refers to and that's what this is about.

That is precisely what the stats do not reveal.
