...no, the joke is completely on you evidently. ...if you seriously don't believe this country was more united in 2001 after 9/11 as compared to now, you are further gone than I thought.
Not right before 9/11. If 9/11 happened today, it would be the same thing everyone would fake patriotism and togetherness and whatever. America would be glad Trump is a strong president
...wow...just wow, evidently you totally disregarded the title of the thread..."just before 9/11" was not the subject. ...and according to you, "Trump is a strong president"?......not sure what's more disturbing, you saying that or you actually believing that.
Yes, until W fucked it all up by invading fucking Iraq!!! Do you even have a clue, or are you just a professional troll?
all we got for all that happy feely fuck all togetherness was the patriot act and two never ending wars. They played us like a fiddle.
Well I can tell you, from my perspective, and from anyone that I know, talked to, hung out with, fucked, or anything at that time in history that you're wrong. In the Pacific Northwest, the bastion of supposed LibTard Cuck Communism? We were unified. It was overwhelming. My heart was full for America and so was everyone else's. We all would have fought anyone that tried to fuck with our Country, period. Two days after the attack, my friends and I met and decided, on a whim, because of our unity and patriotism, to take our gigantic American Flag out to the 4 way intersection down the street. We waved that fucking flag and yelled and called for patriotism and all we got were honks, horns, people yelling from their cars in support of what we were doing and it lasted until W went and invaded a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the attacks on our great country. You continue to show how clueless you are.
If it happened today, we would be the same. The country was divided in 2001 as it was today. And after was a shitstorm as well. Nothing changed. The patriotism exhibited was nothing more than a need to seek comfort after a personally traumatic and shocking event. It was temporary, as before and after the country was deeply divided, as it is now. Exactly the same. Nothing changed other than a need to cope with the shock and that manifested as patriotism. As time went by, we settled into normalcy, which is two party conflict.
...I refuse to feed the obvious troll any longer. It's apparent that he acts like a jackass just for attention...not gonna play.
The country is infinitely more divided now than it was then, though I concede that it was divided then Hey man...I was a registered GOP who voted for W both times....till I saw the truth It’s only gotten worse with the GOP. WAY WAY worse. Anyway...love you mean it go Blazers
It's obvious that Bush didn't see through his following actions and the wars it created. Trump? Yikes. Talk about catastrophe. I don't think everyone would fake patriotism and unite in the same way... It wouldn't be as unprecedented if it happened again, sadly.
