Tyrod also didn't turn it over much so they could score just off of wearing down defense while also lowering the other offenses T.O.P. making one big defensive play causing a turnover all that more beneficial for them. I believe they had one of the top TO differentials in the league last year which was a big reason for their success.

    Asking for a friend....(JK)

Do waivers usually go through right when the clock hits midnight?

I just had a waiver debacle in one of my other leagues.

...pretty sure last year the Waiver Order was based on reverse order of the draft and carried on like "normal" the rest of the year -- none of this stupid reset order each week but I can see how the comish's aim would be to make it easier for all you losers to catch back up after shitty drafts :biglaugh:

Got my guy George Kittle this morning. I have Engram, but not sure he will get much action with Barkley and OBJ.

...or in my case, lots of moves denied -- because I was last on the waiver order I had setup about 25 different moves as "what if" scenarios and only got one of them to go thru LOL!

@BonesJones Can you please explain the injured spot? I've never been in a one year league with one of those. You put Jeffery on there and were able to pick someone up but Jeffery isn't officially ruled out yet (listed as doubtful). So what happens if he plays? If he doesn't play this week but plays next week can you still keep him on IR or does it force you to drop someone? I have guys that are questionable but it won't let me put them on IR so I'm guessing they have to be at least doubtful but shouldn't they have to be ruled out first?

For the record, this isn't meant as trying to be annoying towards you it's just that you're the team I noticed used the IR therefore why I used it in my question.

FYI, I just checked and it lets me put L. Bell (ruled Out) to the IR spot. I did not know this.

...he was able to add Jeffery before his designation changed to doubtful. The IR is in place because there are plenty of top players that experience non-season ending injuries so the IR spot allows a team to keep their asset and replace them with another player. However, the caveat I just discovered from ESPN rules section was this --> "Once a player is in your IR slot, he can remain there even while healthy, however any roster changes involving waiver pick-ups or free agents will not process unless a healthy player sitting in the IR slot is removed first (to the bench or active roster slot). Note, this also includes any trade transactions. The trade cannot be processed unless the healthy player is removed from the IR slot." :dunno:

See that is kind of BS because he is holding out not injured and it doesn't allow you to put suspended players on there.

But when is the designation made that he is "healthy"? Is it simply after he plays his next game? Your explanation makes sense and I am glad it restricts moves if you have a healthy player in that spot but Bones was able to pick someone up this morning. Was this before his injury status was updated?

...this, I do not know as I cannot find a time stamp for the designation change when compared to the transaction itself. UPDATE: looks like he put in a normal waiver claim for Breida before he cleared waivers earlier this morning -- Jeffery's status wasn't update until after this transaction*

There is more info regarding the status and when a player status is updated though --> https://support.espn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003860512-Move-a-Player-On-or-Off-Injured-Reserve-IR- --AND--> https://support.espn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003849911-Players-on-Injured-Reserve-IR-

Thanks for the links! Yeah, I'm still curious how it works with players who are game to game. Assuming Jeffery was listed as out and his status for this week updated after the transaction Bones made, can Bones make moves now that he's listed as doubtful instead of out? Or if he's on the injury report still does that qualify as him still being injured?

The 2018 NFL Draft is going to be very interesting to look back at years from now. There were so many questionable moves.

    Browns taking Mayfield #1.

Giants passing on an Eli replacement.

    Colts trading down from #3.

    Browns taking Ward over Chubb.

Bills trading up for Josh Allen.

49ers taking McGlinchey over Derwin James or Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Cardinals trading up for Josh Rosen.

Saints giving up a 1st next year to move up to take Marcus Davenport.

If Giants fans come to regret taking Barkley instead of Darnold then it will just make the pick that much sweeter.
