Yeah, Steppenwolf sucked. He was weak. They had Superman come in at the knicknof time and defeat him, it wasn't really a team effort. No green lantern dammit. It sucks because now no sequel. I was hoping to see Darksied. He could be the equivalent of Thanos. Too bad.
Why is it DC has by far the better heroes but Marvel has by far the better movies? And Cavill is going to be too busy being Geralt in the Netflix Witcher show.
Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to moviegoers and that will never change. He was the first movie superhero and one of the best.
Marvel had a great vision also. They really did a lot of character development over the last 10 years, creating a lot of back stories and depth with each super heros and their main movies. They all intersected multiple times and created a great story arc culminating in Infinity War. It was a very complex and dynamic achievement. DC has been stuck on the trilogy since their success with Dark Knight. Marvel has been playing the long game for a lot longer, DC is a step of five behind. Now with this latest news its another huge setback for their franchise. Now their only "A" hero left is Wonder Woman, who is pretty great, but their are left rebuilding the image of Superman and Batman. Flash is a great character and Aquaman promises to be good besides being a pretty laughable superhero in general. I like DC's direction of being a more adult dark version, but I agree with El Prez that they dont follow through with enough violence. They should break the mold and make them R rated, which would be bad ass.
You're BACK !!!!! Good. I missed you and your references to pop literature. Should have known you'd be into comic books.
LOL Aha, you caught me. My job is to go out to the mailbox and pick up my welfare check once a month. Then, I have to make my monthly trip to the bank to cash my check, head for the store and buy beer and cigarettes all while pushing a shopping cart up and down the roadside. Why do you ask?
I'm still confused by the point here. Are you saying that if a superhero wasn't portrayed as black from the beginning, that it never should be? Or am I misinterpreting?
