i agree with your contention that our criminal justice system is deeply flawed and is over due for reform. i'll take it a step further and advocate that there also needs to be reform in the policing of our citizens too. i alluded to there being a lack of one nation possessing the moral authority to call out china and that was a backhanded reference to this topic. however it derails the subject of what i was hoping to discuss. how does this get addressed, and what are the consequences of not addressing it? are you ok with the communist party in china reverting to the old maoist re-education camps of old? as a psuedo-intellectual and how they were eliminated in the past, i would think this would be of grave import and a sympathetic subject.
