    I randomly heard them on the radio a while back and I could have sworn that Robert Plant started a new band or something.

    I think they are young and talented though. I agree that I don't wanna like them just cuz they sound like Zeppelin. Nobody will ever be able to touch those 4 musicians, but if these kids grow and bring something new to the table I'll be very into it. Also, at least they are playing real instruments instead of some drum board.

    I still think Happy Trails.... in '69 is them at their peak. At least guitar playing. Ken Kesey said they were a great bunch of guys but their egos took over.

    You ever heard Rainbow Munich Live in '77.... fucking destroys Deep Purple. Blackmore was right to leave.

    Yes, as I followed Rainbow as well, but Deep Purple Mk II is still better in my book. Even the changeover from Glover to Hughes and Gillan to Coverdale was damn good.

    My favorite Deep Purple album is actually Burn which has Hughes and Coverdale. I like the soul influences on that album. Mistreated.... that song kicks fucking ass! But the reason I prefer Rainbow is because of Dio and Powell. They are a little bit closer to metal. Which is my favorite music.
