I'm doing the Survivor game on FPM and part of this week's challenge is to write a paragraph or two explaining who you think will win the Suns-Spurs series. I just need you guys to vote on who had the best argument in their paragraph. When voting, don't put your personal opinions in this.Oh and on #2, menace is this member on FPM that's a total moron and can't spell. That's who he's talking about in the first sentence.#1 San Antonio will win in 6 games. Defense wins over offense most of the time. When these two teams meet it always seems to be San Antonio?s other players stepping up against the Suns. Duncan doesn?t get to use his score?n abilities as much, because he has to defend one of the best offensive players in Stoudemire. You have Parker and Ginobili who can score with no defensive presence on their team at the guards. Duncan can?t shut Stoudemire down, but he limit him enough and get the rebounds needed to win the game.#2 Lemme break it down here menace style - the Sunz win becuz they the bestest of them westest. No one on the suns have let down, Nash has had another MVP season, stoudemire has came back from his knee injury and is just dominating the inside along with Marion both nearly averaging double-doubles in pts and rebounding in the season while averaging double-doubles in the playoffs.Along with having 3 MVP caliber players in Mash, Marion, and Stoudemire, while having Barboas as the sixth man player of the year on the team, the Suns are much deeper, none of the players are coming major injuries recenty, plus the Suns have also improved their defensive presence with the addition of raja bell and Kurt Thomas. The spurs have not made any improvements in the past 2 years except in their age, they are not the same team. As long as the suns control the tempo of the game, they will not have a problem winning the series.#3The top series in the Wetern Conference between the two teams that took the backseat during Dallas' season and short-lived playoff run. Nevertheless, two very good teams worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as the Mavs, althought ESPN and others may have you thinking otherwise. The Suns will win Game 1 at home because they are faster. In Game 1 you want to establish your type of game, and I don't think the Spurs will be able to stop the Suns run 'n gun in this game. The Suns will get out to an early lead, and fight off San Antonio runs throughout the game, probably winning by about 10 points.By Games 2 & 3 the Spurs will have settled in and somewhat forced the Suns to play their halfcourt game, involving Duncan down low as much as possible. The backcourt is easily commanded by the Suns, but Ginobli and Parker can certainly hold their own. The frontcourt goes to the Spurs in a closer one, as Duncan is routinely one of the best around. The Spurs have a little more experience, some deadly shooters, and a dominant big man. Spurs take this one in 6 games, 4-2.#4I believe San Antonio will win the series in 7. In the end, their defense will take it away. Amare will score a lot, Nash will still get his assists, but the Suns will be held to not much more than 100 points at best in each game this series. San Antonio's opponents this season averaged 90.1 points a game while Phoenix averaged 110.2 points a game, so that is why I feel that Pheonix will score around 100 points each game. Unfortunately for them, the Spurs were able to average near that at 98.5 points a game while the Suns allowed 102.9 points a game so it should be easier for the Spurs to score a few extra baskets to win the games at the end of the 4th.Looking at the players themselves, it will come down to who will be able to stop Parker and Ginobli inside. Duncan will get a lot of double teams to prevent him from getting the easy basket down low which means that a lot of times the lanes will be open for those 2 to drive in. I don't believe that Amare and Thomas will be able to do enough to stop them for the entire game. Finley also plays a huge part in this. He needs to continue being that huge 3 point threat he has been against Denver. It will force the Suns to have to pay attention to the outside threat as well as the inside threat and spread their defense out.
