Exactly. It’s his character. I was on the wolves subreddit and everything bad wolves fans had to say we’re about thibs and jimmys character. That’s what scares me about him in a scenario where we trade cj.
I'm talking top 8 protected. That's a pretty solid haul. You think they'd automatically take, what you call an "overpaid" McCollum, but would have no interest in 4 first round picks. SMH.
Character isn’t what wins championships. This isn’t the Boy Scouts. And the whole point of building a “culture” is so you can take chances on guys with questionable off court issues. And it’s not like the guy is a criminal. He probably has an alpha personality and might have been pushed into a leadership role he wasn’t fit for.
Butler's crusty personality flows from Thibodeaux's. Under the soft, caring vision of fatherly Stotts, Butler's inner self would emerge, giggling like a child.
Character can destroy teams though. Olshey went after Cousins. If Olshey didn't go after Butler due to concerns about his character, I would trust that itd be justified.
In Portland’s case, there’s not much to destroy. I’d rather be in the lottery than the purgatory we’re in now. This is the worst. They’re good enough to tease you into thinking they have a shot, but in the end you know they don’t stand a chance. What’s the point? I’d rather take a chance on being great.
https://www.nbcsports.com/northwest...sota-timberwolves-potential-jimmy-butler-deal According to Dwight Jaynes, CJ is untouchable in any Jimmy Butler deal... man I hate Neil
I quoted the original source and then offered my opinion. You need facts for me to justify my opinion? Here you go: OKC was not Paul Geroge's first choice. OKC was not Carmelo's first choice. TOR was not Kawhi's first choice. In none of those cases was the team that ended up getting the disgruntled superstar mentioned in initial reports of likely destinations. In all three cases the team that actually got the player was a team that sat back, watched as other negotiations broke down and then jumped in at the end with their best offer. Where's your facts? Just another ad hominem attack. So predictable. You're not adding anything to the discussion, you're just attacking me. BNM
Hes probably trusting someone who doesnt have a connection. When has Dwight Jaynes ever broken a story? Never. Neil runs a tight ship. I wouldn't trust Jaynes sources at all.
1) What's wrong with attacking you? 2) Hey, he is what he is. No need to keep calling someone a homo.
Here's the thing, if they trade CJ for Butler, it just moves the hole in the starting 5 to a different position. If they trade CJ for Butler and Butler leaves, people will be apoplectic. So just cut out the middle man and bitch about anything and everything the team does and anything and everything the team doesn't do, and while you're at it, anything and everything you think the team could do regardless of it's connection to reality.
