I don't really care that much either, he did what he did. But again, it just seems like a set up to take him out. Wouldn't put it past the government to entrap him.

The theory regarding entrapment (which I've never bought into) is supposedly, "If the trapper hadn't provided the means/opportunity, the trappee would never have committed the offense." Whatever.
I haven't read up on this, but I thought the story was that he paid for, and had, sex with a minor. The police don't entrap pervs by actually giving them minors to have sex with. They might make the offer and collect the money, but they don't follow thru with the sex. barfo
All you have to do is not have sex with a youngster, in this case. Why is that hard for Cody Wilson to understand? How do you entrap someone by learning they had sex with a youngster and the youngster tells police? Huh, someone please demystify that for me.
Perhaps he was unaware she was underage. Maybe he knew and did not care. Entrapment is still not ethical.
