Sure I would. Unless you're actually one of the Gasol brothers . Then I probably wouldn't.

Something no one is talking about (and maybe rightfully so because of the odds) but what if Simons shows this whole NBA thing isn’t too big for him? He didn’t seem phased by summer league. Yeah it’s summer league but for Simons that was still a significant jump from where he was last year.

No one was expecting Collins to play last year. Everyone assumed Swanigan was further along in his development. I don’t think Trent is Swanigan, because I think Trent is going to be ready in his own right, and Simons is even more inexperienced than Collins was, but it’s still interesting.

Nick and Curry are on 1-year contracts. We won't re-sign Nick, and Curry will want more $$$ than we can pay him. Aminu will also be a free agent.

So, a 2019 bench of Baldwin, Simons, Trent at the 1,2,3 positions is very possible.

    But unlikely this year.

As James said today "they are long ways away from the warriors" as are most other teams. So most smart GM's will be engineering their teams to phase in when they appear to be phasing out, 1-2 year's from now?

Even if Simons gets development time, it won't be contribution time. Like Collins and Vonleh.

I brought up Simons a day before you posted that.

He was. That's why they gave Collins the minutes. (Swannie got lot of G-League minutes too.)

Bro, people were saying start Swanigan. Nobodys even said we should play Simons.

Who said that Swanigan (6-8, age 20, rookie) should start ahead of Aminu, Davis, Vonleh, or Nurkic?

Deyonta Davis is not good at basketball. I'd rather give an undrafted rookie a shot.
