AFAIK, no. I was under the impression that all the refugees/asylum seekers/border crossers coming up from/through Mexico are being treated with the same degree of inhumanity, regardless of their country of origin.
Yeah. My stance has been from the very beginning that someone should not have an easier time gaining access to the US simply because they happen to come from a country that shares a border. There are millions of people who would love to come here from all over the world. It bothers me that some people feel that people from Mexico should get special treatment. Most countries do not have open borders. Most of the countries in Europe that people like to champion as a better model for social services are extremely difficult to emigrate to. To me, it has nothing to do with skin color. Immigration to this country should be done fairly. Nobody should be able to cut the line.
Reviewing an asylum request without separating families and holding the applicants in detention camps doesn't seem to me to be "special treatment" or "cutting the line".
So where do they go while you review the application? And what's to stop them from disappearing while we review it?
Don't know--that's outside of my wheelhouse. If someone flies over here from Russia and then requests asylum, how is that handled? I don't know the answer to that either. But I think you and I agree that both should be handled the same way.

I think some acts of treason even draw the death penalty. I'm pretty sure he's committed those acts of treason. Mueller will know the answer to that.
