This is what I love about training camp and the preseason, these guys are going to be battling it out head-to-head for playing time. The young rookies, Simons and Trent Jr., are also trying to impress the coaches. There are minutes to be had. I look forward to seeing who earns them. Internal competition is a healthy part of improving the team. These guys are going to be pushing themselves, and each other.

Wades best season had less that 100 minutes played... Very small sample size led to that. Currys the better player right now.

I noted the small sample size, and we really do not know if he (Curry) is a better player now as he is coming off a year-off due to injury. He played in the league 4 years. First 2 he did not crack the rotation. He had one sub-par year in Sacramento and one good year in Dallas, before his injury (and by good we mean 15.5 PER which is slightly above average NBA player). Honestly, can anyone say with certainty that WB4 is clearly below-average NBA player? I am definitely not sure of that. He is young, he had some issues, but he has sparks that show he can be better than an NBA average player, especially when you factor defense. I am still not certain that Curry >> WB4 or even Curry > WB4.

I still think Aminu could start at sf rather than Turner. Collins will play 4.
Not sure you want Turner in the starting LU as I think Stotts is going to go with shooters and more ball movement and less of the dribble. He said so during his interview.

Layman will start in preseason so the 2nd unit doesn't get disrupted.

The beauty of starting Turner is there is only one basketball. So, him and C.J. can't both dribble the air out of it at the same time. We'd see far less dribbling from one of them.
