That’s what bummed me out last year. Turner had the ball in his hands more, or at least had more freedom, his first year in Portland. The assist numbers reflected that as well. Went from averaging over 3, down to almost 2 this past season. In Boston, Turner was the primary ball handler off the bench and had the best years of his career. Averaged 5 assists in two years. If we could get him back to that, we’ll have a pretty good bench player, despite the contract. I wouldn’t worry about the turnovers either. He was even worse in Boston, but at least he was allowed to be himself. Portland needs to let him get back to that. The good news is everything indicates they will.

I originally envisioned him as a Batum replacement, a 3rd ball handler that would pair well with either Dame or C.J. and could defend bigger guards and the occasional small forward. He was quite effective in that role in BOS, but he's less of a scoring threat than Batum and that made him a poor fit in Terry's system. He wasn't just a plug-and-play replacement.

Hopefully, Terry has come up with some new schemes that will get the best out of him while hiding his obvious weaknesses as much as possible. The addition of more shooters will help. You just can't pair him with other guys who can't shoot and/or are too passive on offense. A small ball lineup with Dame, C.J., Trent Jr., Turner and Collins sounds intriguing - not as a starting unit, but for a few minutes per half.

They are my treasures all of them. Im blessed to have them so close too.
My wife and I are not bashful about saying no to baby sitting either. My wife was an elementary school teacher for 40 years, and loves little people, but she knows there has to be reasonable management, when it comes to making ourselves avail. to watch the grandkids. Balance is the key.

After being off blood pressure meds for 5 years I was just put back on Losartin. Oh well, i don't get any side effects from it, and it helps.

I bet blood pressures are going up everywhere these days.
