Look, even Denny quit his own forum, which is both weird and telling. Here in the OT, I think many of us find that the political discussions have gotten pretty stale. Same people saying the same thing. Me included. Few people ever cede a point, which is a drag, and finally, with Trump, it's like shooting fish in a barrel, so that chat has lost it's luster.

Quitting the entire forum because of the OT section is so pointless. Just stop coming on this part of the forum. Easy solution. You didn't come here for the OT section in the first place, did you?
This website is the same as its always been. Nothing has changed, other than having fewer people to argue with. The key is just to ignore people that annoy you. Not even saying to put them on ignore, just skip right over there posts.
umm, perhaps a little. Just read through several BB threads, not too much to comment on but I made a couple comments. The responses (a couple) just inspired, a sigh!
Well I was hoping for perhaps a chuckle. Maybe even a like. But some brillant mod choose to edit out the possible humor. Ha! Like I have suggested several times now, what is an insult and what is funny is quite different for Liberal vs a Conservative. Sigh! @PtldPlatypus ? @Strenuus ?

It was a big big hit in the 40s. I believe the best version was by the Ike Davis orchestra featuring Poppy O'Sullivan. Other bands recorded it, too.
