I dont like the spurs or Pops schtick at all, but I believe they deserve a higher score for watchability. They will play super well coached ball, and thats good basketball to me.

It is, but they have been SO boring to watch during their run. Winning basketball isn't always exciting. Thats why I think the Ws have caught on. They are a blast to watch whether you like em or not. Thats why I like watching OKC. Russ is just a nut job out there, flying all over the place. Just flat out fun to watch.

I understand exactly why people say that, and I GS’s barrage of 3’s and all that is fun for most fans. I agree that Russ is fun too. I guess I never found SAS to be that boring, when their moving without the ball, making good passes they just play basketball so, “the right way”. They definitely dont have the huge dunks and the things you associate with exciting basketball, I just think its great basketball to watch. For me it would be like 8-10th.

I admit I enjoy watching him blow 4th quarter leads. I especially enjoy it when it happens against the Blazers.

Don't get me wrong. As a fan of the game I love the fundamentals, they just aren't very fun to watch. I believe some of the lowest rated NBA Finals were the Spurs years unfortunately .

So I see you have not matured in the offseason, and will continue to throw shade at myself and my love of all things Russ.

Is fair I suppose. I think the Spurs hear series’ had got rating’s but that probably had a lot to do with Lebron / Wade.

I liked watching the Spurs 5 years ago when thy lead the league in AST/G, yet didn't have any one individual player averaging more than 5.7. They also had seven players average between 9.1 and 16.7 ppg and were 3rd in the league in team defense. That was such a great display of team basketball on both sides of the ball. So much ball and player movement on offense and seamless switching on defense. They just all seemed to function as one cohesive being rather than five individuals.

And then they ruined it all by signing Aldridge.

Is it really "throwing shade" if it's true? Asking for a friend...

The Blazers are my main thing but I play to watch ta least as many Philly games. It's so much fun to watch a core with that much promise grow playing together.

Can't argue with the Top 4. Funny one is the Bulls at 6. Saying they are fun to watch because of all the ejections and bad play.

We were #8 last year, and just lost Ed, right? And Mo still has the contract bonus for 3pt%, right?

I know it wont be popular but I dont think the Blazers last year played a great brand of basketball for ‘watchability’, a lot of iso’s, not great passing, terrible on the break. The redeeming qualities were that Dame and CJ were phenomenal watches when they got going. I could see why Blazer fans keep tuning in. Nationally though I understand why they’re not higher and Im a little surprised they arent lower.
