A great start to the game for us. The scoring is distributed among all the starters, with Webber leading is with ten. Those curls with Rip are really working well with Chauncey maknig great passes. On D, the Bulls are getting some open looks but just can't hit anything. We continue to outrebound Chicago, 13-4. The lack of a post presence is really hurting Chicago after PJ Brown had to sit out with two fouls. We're shooting very well at 63%. The bench needs to keep this up in the second.

The Bulls have no idea what they are doing....Their youth is definitely showing. As of right now, Detroit is pretty much doing everything right. They are playing with experience and they are doing it well...Great job by them so far in this series.

Chicago sucks on the road but I expect them to win both home games. Detroit will probably win in 7 though since they got home court.

Not a great 2nd for us. The scoring continues to be spread out, with all the starters in double digits other than Sheed, who has eight. The bench didn't play well, only scoring 2 points and getting four rebounds combined. The Bulls got into the paint relatively easy, drawing fouls and going to the line. We really have to stop the penetration in the second half.

I completely agree with Doug Collins, the Bulls can't just let Ben Wallace be the only one that is trying to rebound on the defensive end. The Bulls are being out rebounded, and have given up 12 offensive rebounds because of this. They have to help him out on the glass with rebounding.

I like the move to zone for Detroit. It prevents penetration and forces the Bulls to hit their jumpshots, which they aren't. On offense, we had some threes which helped a lot, but we've been very sloppy with the ball, as shown by the 15 turnovers. The Bulls are starting to pick up some momentum, so we have to stop that.

After Chicago cuts the lead to 13, Sheed slams one home, then a Bulls turnover and a Chauncey three in transition to make the lead 18. Gotta love it.

The Pistons are playing great baskeball right now, it is really being a joy to watch with how well they are playing. Everyone is passing and sharing the ball, they are hitting their shots, crashing the boards. This starting five is so complete and so good, it's going to be hard for anyone to beat these guys in a seven game series. Everytime the Bulls get within 12 or so, the Pistons answer right back with a turnover or two and hit big shots, and stretch the lead back out to 17 or 18 points. Billups, Prince and Hamilton have hit big shots to keep the lead by a bigger margin. This is great basketball by this team, so unselfish, and so good.

Well, the game's over, with a final of 108-87. The Pistons had a very good 1st half, but I didn't like the way they played in the 2nd half. Too many turnovers, sloppy passes, etc. Also, Chicago shot over 50 free throws. That's something we need to cut down on come game 3. We were +20 in the rebounding department, which is always a good thing. We shot over 50%, and were 10-20 on threes. Game 3 will be a big one. Chicago playing with the energy of its home crowd, and Detroit trying to take a commanding 3-0 lead. I expect that one to be a lot closer.

Chicago really needs to step up their game if they want to compete against Detroit. The Bulls should not expect Detroit to come out with a lack of confidence and they will need way more of a contribution from the backcourt. The Bulls do not look like the same squad they were in the first round. Either way the playoffs are about adjustments andadjustments need to be made.

Were playing them like we played Orlando-letting them get close, but the outcome is a lot better as far as the end result goes and Chicago is struggling shooting the basketball. The Pistons are playing dominant basketball right now.I've been saying all over this board that it would be over in 5. but I wouldnt be surprised if they swept them. The Pistons are on a whole other level of play right now. no-one can slow them down in the East. I only think the Spurs could beat them in a seven game series. and if the Suns take them to 7 or beat them, I think the Pistons should be able to take the whole thing.

Its almost like the bulls are waiting for the pistons to come out flat and lose. The Bulls need to realize that in the playoffs, you have to step up and win the game, not have your opponent hand it to you. Chicago's defense has been sad, I understand that not every team has five solid scorers, but Chicago needs to keep the Pistons on the perimeter.

These guys play such good basketball, and the way it was meant to be played, yet they still dont get nearly as much attention as the teams that just play offense like the Suns. I dont care if its more exciting, because it really isnt. When the Pistons get on a run, Mason's voice is blasting over the loudspeakers and the crowd is going crazy, theres not a better feeling in basketball.Oh man, , Orlando put up a bigger fight than Chicago has. Detroit is clearly dominating, and I dont see anyone stopping them. That includes in the NBA Finals. They have not yet lost a game this playoffs, and their starters have scored over double digits in every game this playoffs. The media was saying how it might be the Bulls turn to take over the crown as top spot in the East, and the Pistons are showing they are not ready to give that up for a while. They are dominating a team that I thought posed a huge threat to Detroit. The key here is playoff experience. Detroit has been in the mix and in the playoffs for 5 years now, while this relatively young Chicago team has barely any playoff experience. People say the Bulls will do better at home, but Detroit has played just as good, if not better (the record shows that), away. Chicago is really in a bad spot right now, and it will take a Mavericks-like collapse (haha), to lose this series.
