I know he is also not listed in best PGs. They list Harden as a PG...WTF

Wow, KAT's stock has dropped. From 1st last year to not even making the list this year:

What's with all the Kyrie love? Dame had the better season last year, but Kyrie is getting votes all over the place and Dame gets mentioned once (Tied for 4th as Best Leader).

I said it on draft night, that I thought both Simons and Trent Jr. were steals at where they were selected. Trent Jr. will have a more immediate impact, but in the end, Simons could end up being the steal of the entire draft.

I can't prove it, but watching him, he seems to have that natural basketball vibe to him. I too think Simons could be special.

It's really kind of interesting to see what guys the GMs think are steals, so soon after the draft and before they play a single NBA game. Sort of kicking themselves in hindsight.

    Some random funny stuff:

Curry got some vote for best SG

Davis won both best PF and best Center

Ayton got a vote for biggest steal of the draft ???

Interesting how they ranked the West teams:

Rank the top four teams in the Western Conference

Last year: 97 percent picked Golden State to win the West. Order after the Warriors was Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Minnesota and Portland.

OKC is ranked a bit higher than I expected. Utah is ranked about where I expected, but I'm surprised they have that much separation from the lower seeds. Seeds 5-8 are all within 2% as expected.

I think it's going to be another battle in the West that comes down to which teams can stay healthy. I'm looking forward to the Blazers 'surprising' everyone again and ending up in that 3rd seed!

i dont see how any of the guys in the top 10 of the draft are steals, unless they're talking about they were predicting them to be top 3 n went like 9th.

I consider Harden a PG. He runs that offense as much or more than CP3. Get the League Pass, THEN post!

It's all relative to who was picked before them. For example, I'd say Paul George was a steal at 10th in 2010, given that guys like Evan Turner, Wesley Johnson, Epke Udoh, and Al-Farouq Aminu were all taken before him. George was coming out of Cal State Fresno, and hadn't faced the same level of completion, or gotten the national exposure, as the guys who played at bigger schools.

In hindsight, George should have been taken top 3. He ranks first in WS and 3rd in points scored (in spite of missing an entire season with a broken leg) for the draft class of 2010. He was definitely a steal at #10.

Of course you can look at guys like Jimmy Butler (#30 in 2011) and Draymond Green (35th in 2012) and say they were even bigger steals, because of where they were picked, but in most drafts there is generally someone picked sound 9th or 10th that, in hindsight, should have been a top 3 pick. To me, that makes them a steal. Heck, even Dame, at #6 in 2012 could be considered a steal. He's easily one of the top 2 players of the draft class of 2012 (2nd in WS, 1st in points scored, by a wide margin).

I’m actually looking forward to see Michael Porter Jr. play. So hyped, then all the injuries and he slides. That dude IF healthy could be smooth!

That would be great, but do you REALLY think we can come in third? Talent wise?

I always considered Paul Pierce a steal. Didn’t he fall to 10th?
