    Voit good hit no field had torres actually hustling to cover first and never even looked there for a play. Big trouble for yanks now and greene in the game

    With a fastball from hell, a pitcher can get away with an 80 mph change of speed.

    Sale's approach- He bumped his slider usage nearly eight points and featuring a touch more changeups in favor of saving his fastball for deeper counts. The result was a massive 43.0% strikeout rate and 13.9% whiff rate for his four-seamer – marks rarely seen on a starter's heater.

    Kershaw's 94.1 mph Fastball is a thing of the past; now 90-91 mph.
    (tho' this much is impertinent to Yankee Fans)- CK's doing the same Sale's doing; getting hitters out with anything other than his FB. CK's outpitch is his slider these days. His loop de loop curveball was as much his undoing as an out of the park pitch...

    Tough 5-4 loss. The bullpen did a great job giving the batters a chance but too many missed opportunities.

    Bless their little pea pickin' hearts they found a way to lose. Happ & Green were Red Sox Players of the game. Andujar got nothing done. GT & Stanton failed with the bass loaded. And to add extra spice, Stanton did his best impersonation of a ceiling fan with each at bat. Avery disappointing loss for this team.
