<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>8th May, 2007 - 12:22 pm Michael Wilbon of the Washington Post - Brendan Haywood, Washington center, has told president of basketball operations Ernie Grunfeld he wants to be traded this summer, according to two team sources and a league source with knowledge of the situation. Haywood's relationship with Eddie Jordan is beyond repair, according to sources. "He pretty much said that the relationship between himself and Eddie had gotten to the point where he didn't want to be in Washington anymore because he doesn't feel that he'll be treated fairly," the league source said</div> Bye Bye Brenda, time for Ernie to work out another Kwame for Caron deal. Cmon Ernie, work your magic.
im sure wizards can get a lil nice backup for haywood. alot of teams wont mind a big.. even if he isnt all that good.

But if They can pull out some disney trick and bag a more dedicated bigman congrats(.)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Getting another caron-ish player wont do nothing for the wiz(.) They need a bigman period(.)</div>Exactly. They have Jamison, Butler, and Arenas....three absolutely flat out outstanding offensive talents but they have no banger down low. Calvin Booth, Etan Thomas, and Michael Ruffin are not going to cut it. It should be interesting what they get for Haywood. I've honestly always though Haywood's progress has been hindered in Washington, I'd like to see him on another team.
He would be a good compliment with Pau Gasol defensively and dominating the boards(.)Only if the grizz are trying to mold their team into a defensive spurs team(.) If any team is going for that run n gun stuff then Haywood is not their man(.)

With him being a more defensive type center, their run and gun style takes away from Haywood's defense down low some times. It's hard to anchor a defense on a run and gun team, which is what Haywood has been trying to do. He is never going to be a great scorer, and I did not believe he would be coming out of UNC. I knew he would be a good defensive player though, and given the right kind of situation can make a big impact next year for some team that plays with a more deliberate pace of play.

Sign Haywood to the Raptors! He fits perfectly in our system. He can shoot and play with his back to the basket, something Rasho cant do. He had a great rookie year, and really wasnt fitting into Eddie Jordan's system if you ask me, he wasnt really an option, he was more like the 5th man on the court, they would never run plays for him, he was basically inserted in the lineup for his size.
It's going to be a while before I get use to seeing Haywood on another team I cant believe he wants to leave. Imo they should give up Thomas instead. I don't care what anybody thinks of Haywood he's always been one of my favorite players since he was in College.
Brendan would be a good addition...because he's a body...who is not a bad rebounder...I still think that we could get a better rebounder than him though...

I have always liked Haywood a little bit. I wouldn't put him at the top of the list for targets for Danny Ainge this summer, but he can make a bigger impact somewhere else. I think places like Detroit, San Antonio, or Toronto would be nice fits for him.
I think it's about time. I personally liked Haywood last season, a bit. This season, I believe it has gone to far. He hasn't had consistent production and I agree why Eddie benched him. I hope we get a great center for next season ;\.
