... Stanton could not hit a ball last night if it were placed on a Fkng TEE....

Judge is a face of the franchise

I was totally unaware of this news. Yankees crossed the picket line at the Boston Ritz-Carlton.

Regardless of how one feels or believes in unions this is never good news. May be a non-issue to some, but...??

    Big Al, what's your thoughts???

I have strong opinions on both sides of the coin, for and against unions. It has always been my belief: - well ran corporations do not need unions, because they exceed the requirements and needs of their employees vs what other similar corporations provide in wages and benefits, as well as all necessary human resources

Imho- and from my 35 years in Manufacturing plants- politics and baseball just do not get along. I hate dragging politics into baseball, but I got a feeling this will not bode well for the kids or for Trashman. Then again this probably will have zero implications or impact on the Yankees, if any at all....

Trashman has a scapegoat for that one as well. He'll blame it on the traveling secretary.

Wealthy sports owners do not give a crap about anything mundane as crossing a picket line......
and I guess that goes for wealthy sports players.

I wonder if “headcase” Price will feel more comfortable pitching against his nemesis Yankees
    at Fenway Pahk?

When the players chose to strike in '81 & '94 the big losers were the blue collar stadium workers, and independent vendors who made their living during the season. I always thought that MLB by team should have given compensation to those folks. Probably never happened though. It was always my experience that Steinbrenner was pretty generous and I wonder if he took action to see fair treatment.

I don't have much confidence with Tanaka in there this evening. Stanton, the man has been useless I critical situations, Sanchez ain't up to Par. Started throwing things when Stanton and GT flubbed the dub with the bases loaded, Christ even Andujar was off last night. The face of the franchise is Judge but some others will have to chip in. So far in these playoffs the Brewers and Dodgers have shown how to be what is up. If the Yankees lose today I'd have to say their shit may be in the wind. Terrible loss last night that they inflicted upon themselves.

^^^^^my uncle was a stadium worker during that strike. No one got any compensation
after that strike ended......in fact, the Yankees fired most of those workers.

BaBoone is putting all his fish in one basket.......Stanton & Sanchez back to back......so if one fails, the other
will fail also. How sweet! Crap to crap!

The cud chewing manager is betting S & S will still carry this team............over the edge and out
of the playoffs! That’s my take.

Again, this game will come down to pitching and attitude. If Tanaka is on, we have a chance. If he continues to stare
out and up at that Green Monster, you know he is being devoured and wants out. Hard to watch a pitcher who
gives up and is wearing pinstripes!

Hicks not in the lineup tells me his hamstring injury is not just a cramp. His bat will be missed. Hope Voit
continues hitting when the iron is this hot!

Just watched Andrew Miller Hershey Squirt Clevelands lead, I'd hoped Cleveland would take Houston out but I guess that may not happen.
