2 games, 2 fuckups by the refs which cost us a goal. Same shit, different year. That and the team can't finish.

Lots of 3-1 losses coming this year.

watching the Rangers is a snooze fest. This is going to be a long and boring season.

Never seen a group of defenseman who can't get fucking point shots through or on net. Incredible.

Good to see Howden get his first. Shattenkirk has sucked so far.

Yep, he has sucked so far. Get a freakin shot through and on net. Otherwise, he's pretty much useless.

I'm starting to wonder too if we saw the ceiling for Skjei in his rookie season too. Not to be rash as he's in year 3 but i just don't feel like he'll really be an AS level guy. Dosen't seem to make enough of a difference offensively.

Vets on the team are sucking it. Chytil makes a play game 1. Howden a play in game 2. As usual, Hayes, Kreider, Zibanejad, etc.... are invisible.

I'm warming towards moving Kreider at the deadline for the first time. I was opposed to it at first. However, he's a little like Miller. He rarely brings his A game. Or B game for that matter. I'm pretty sure you would get a big haul for him. A first, second and a top forward prospect.

Definately something to consider if it brought back that type of package. I really wouldn't put anyone over 25 as untouchable on the team. Keep getting as many 1st and solid prospects as possible.

2 games in and not surprisingly some are jumping ship after losing to the Pres cup winning Preds and a Buff team they outplayed but didn't outscore. The Rangers are averaging 40 shots per game but I agree shots need to be finished or followed, many juicy rebounds sat Rangerless both games. Howden is 86.7% on faceoffs and Chytil is looking to be more of a winger at 20% faceoffs but both look NHL ready to me. Time to bring up Lias and send Lettieri down where he belongs. Quinn parking Hayes ass on the bench in the 3rd was long overdue, he should be tearing it up with his size and skill. I don't like McLeod but he's doing his job and I liked how they went after that bum Berglund who should face a disciplinary hearing after a blatant head shot 15 feet from a ref who should also be held accountable. Unfortunately this crap has gone on as long as the Rangers have played hockey, I'll never forget when Shanahan played for the Rangers and was incredulous at the disrespect shown toward Jagr by refs because he was wearing a blue shirt.

A few things about Quinn's style that I think make the Rangers better - no more drop passes in the neutral zone on the PP or the ridiculous 5 man drop to your own goal line to start a rush, his insistence on a dman staying in front of the net (though that will never sink into the world's worst dman Marc Staal's head) and no more kicking the puck up the boards to clear out of their zone. Keep the faith Rangers fans, there's more good than bad this year.

Agree with most of what you said Panzer. Chytil is not a center. He has no faceoff ability from what I see. Andersson does. Like Quinn's style. Not his personnel decisions. Hajek and Andersson should be on this team. He should have told Gorton, trade Staal and Namestnikov now.

Staal's treatment by this organization reminds me of Marcel Hossa, they felt that he would be the same talent as his brother so he spent years stealing a paycheck and giving nothing back in return. I laughed when Joe Mich was showing how Quinn wants a dman staying home in front of the net and there's the hapless Staal dropping to a knee to let a pass trickle through for a prime scoring chance. There he was again on Buff's 2nd PP goal in no man's land allowing the easy chip in by Sheary. It sucks that his own brother's cheap shot led to him becoming what he is but it's not fair to Hank and the team to continue his kneeling ways.

I don't think Quinn has full decision making on personnel dump, I would think as a new coach he'd want youth to develop for the future. Hajek and Andersson for Staal/Lettieri would improve this team but we'll see who's playing after a few more weeks. I'd like to see a captain named instead of half the squad wearing the A.

Gorton is a pussy with this rebuild. He's not committing fully IMO.

If you look at the players with bad contracts he has rid the Rangers of in the last year+ I think Gorton has done better than expected, Staal remains my bane. I think Quinn's defensive philosophy helps Hank tremendously unless you have a stubborn mule like Staal who won't play basic defense.
