Re: Money!!! Problay not what you expects but...I was just wondering how much you guys pay for your college education a year ( For those of you in college that is)This would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

How can you get a scholarship ?
Re: Money!!! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>How can you get a scholarship ?</div>You should get with your guidance couselour, it'll be a lot of help. They'll run you through the process. If you got good test scores, high gpa and good grades in high school. It should be easy.
Re: Money!!! Not in college YET, but will be beginning courses in the fall. But yeah, what Rok said, scholarships can vary in your accomplishments and what not in class. Check out http://www.collegeboard.com and talk to your guidance counselor(s). Getting high ACT/SAT scores will improve your chances and the higher you get the less you have to pay in funds when you get there.

Re: Money!!! My tuition is something like 10000+ a year including rent. Keep in mind that it is in-state and in a city with pretty fair rent costs. I get a lot of that helped out with loans, scholarships, and grants. Pretty much all of those come from the government, which help me because I fill out the FAFSA every year. I'm not so sure that you have that in Ireland (are you moving here?).
Re: Money!!! For my freshman year:Tuition: $27,639Room (Residence Hall): $6,414Meal Plan (14-Meal Plan): $4,301Other Fees: $400 Dorm Damage Deposit Fee (applicable to freshman only) Total Annual Expenses: $38,754
Re: Money!!! I paid about 10 grand last year for a full schedule of classes, including books. this past semester I only paid about 500 because I only needed one class and I already had the book. THANK GOD I'M DONE!!! though I might go back in the fall for a masters.
Re: Money!!! Well I went to UCO for a year. 3rd largest college in Oklahoma. Tuition was $3,000. Dorm was about $3,500. Around $1,000 on books. But I'll be moving to OU, tuition is pretty much the same. I'll have an apartment, idk dollar figures yet.And Yanks what college is this? Must be out of state.Harvard is $30,000 out of state

It's so f*cking expensive. I lived on campus and just paid for everything with cash or went off campus. It was much cheaper.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BigMo763 @ May 8 2007, 06:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Mine is pretty much the same as Justice's, maybe $1,000 to $3,000 higher...</div>Yeah, I don't know how much mine is... maybe 10-13 thousand. Depends on semester too, I think.

You'd have to talk to someone, but my guess is you'd be filling out the FAFSA just like us.You might want to look at this.
