Sorry I gotta call bullshit OB... The babysitter doesn't owe her SHIT and shouldn't have had to answer the questions in the first place. Can you even try imagine having to go through unimaginable shit like this daily? See this is the privilege that you enjoy that I do not. This would never happen to you. I DO babysit my little, white, blonde, and redheaded nieces. In public. Maybe once a month I'll have all three of the kids above and we'll go to OMSI and other places. This shit could easily be me one day. What makes her think she should intervene in their situation? She should mind her goddamn business like she would've if a white child was really being abducted (see the video below). Low and behold who are the ones actually saving the child here? See, black people in general don't really harm white people. Conversely, we actually protect them. So MFs need to stop being so damn scared... The actor in the video (doing the abducting) is a well known conservative talking head.
This is literally fucking KILLING ME RIGHT NOW.... Watch that video above! They staged that abduction for HOURS!!!
This is simply not true. They staged that "What would you do" abduction for hours people did nothing. They did nothing for HOURS...
I hear a little girl screaming for help saying this is not my dad, I'm stepping in like those guys did. I can't believe all those people just walked by. Those dudes weren't playing either. They were straight gonna take that guy down.
What a bitch. I understand being suspicious if something looks wrong, especially now days, but what was her justification? Her spidey senses only start tingling around minorities apparently. A nosey racist old hag having a bad day is a scary thing.
Just because someone else said they thought it was suspicious does not make all of them racist. If someone is going to abduct a kid, they are definitely not going in public. Double that with black adults and white kids. You think there would have been an amber alert blowing up everyone's cell? No action led to her believing something was wrong except color of skin. He could have let her ask the kids if he knew her, but why should he? I see lots of different situations for childcare. Personally, I would have thought nothing of it. Definitely out of the norm, but nothing to be alarmed about. Try living where everything you do is questioned. It is not very fun.
Plain and simple it's wrong to see a black man with two white kids and immediately question it like something is wrong. It doesn't matter how the guy reacted in this situation because the situation is bullshit. There is a big difference between actually being suspicious and being suspicious because you are black. Shit like this pisses me off because there are lots of white people who respect and don't profile black people. There are tons of reasons why a black man could be with white children. What if he had adopted them or if he was their stepdad and had to deal with shit like this everytime he left the house with them. Fuck that! Just fucking treat everyone with some decency.
There are different types of racists. There is the kind that hate blacks, ,and then there is the kind that simply assume Blacks or any race behave in some particular way, especially a negative way. She may hate Blacks, but she almost certainly sees Blacks as not on equal footing to whites. Even so, there is a more than zero chance I am wrong, he could have been holding a machete or wearing a tee-shirt that says child rapist. But those are just very very very unlikely. The bar t have an opinion thinking that they woman is racist isn't a zero percent chance, its just whats highly likely. making excuses or not condemning such flagrant racial profiling is BS.
I don't trust men and I'll tell you why. Women say they have sexual thoughts too. They have no idea. It's the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it. If they knew what we were really thinking, they'd never stop slapping us.
With as many "minority" nannies as are out there--and are portrayed on TV and in movies--I don't understand why even a clueless redneck would bat an eye at white children with a non-white adult. However, while it's clear that she wouldn't have questioned a white man, I also wonder, would she have been suspicious if the children were with a black woman? Is the issue actually BWBAM?
