And your constant slobbering over every move Neil does/doesn’t make will win us how many more games this year? This is a sports forum. I can bitch about whatever I want, as many times as I want. You don’t like it? Put my ass on ignore. I ain’t changing, well not unless Neil gives me a reason to. Scalma
Strawman. I'm not delusional enough to think what I write in an anonymous forum will make one damn bit of difference. So, I chose to enjoy watching my team, cheering for them and whatever success they achieve. You choose to bitch and whine about things you can't control How's that working for you? BNM
You don't seem fine. You seem to have a lot of anger in your life. Maybe some jogging would do you good, help relieve some of that stress. BNM
C'mon man, you've made your point. Why perpetuate? He clearly has no interest in engaging. As you said to him regarding his complaining about the team--what's the point?
Boob has a lot of bully in him. He makes it socially acceptable by masking it with stats. But, it's entertaining to skim over his longer posts, so I like him being here. Exercises my skimming skills. I used to be in accounting, and my eyes skipped over 95% of the numbers on the page till I found the important ones. Good thing I still got all my quickness. You ought to see me run from home base to first base.
I don't know the opposite of that, but.... Warriors Waive Tyler Ulis, Three Others October 12th, 2018 at 3:49pm CST by Luke Adams The Warriors have waived four players from their 20-man preseason roster, the team announced today in a press release. Point guard Tyler Ulis, swingman Danuel House, big man Deyonta Davis, and guard Kendrick Nunn have all been released, according to the club. Ulis and House, who each have some NBA experience, appeared to be potential candidates to make the regular season roster with Patrick McCaw‘s restricted free agency still unresolved, but it looks like it will be Alfonzo McKinnie who fills the Warriors’ 14th roster spot instead — he agreed to a two-year contract with Golden State today. The team is expected to leave its 15th roster spot empty to open the season to retain flexibility and to avoid increasing its projected tax bill. With Ulis, House, Davis, and Nunn all on waivers and McKinnie receiving a new contract, Marcus Derrickson is the only non-guaranteed camp invitee who wasn’t involved in a roster move today. Anthony Slater of The Athletic tweets that he wouldn’t be surprised if Derrickson claims Golden State’s second two-way contract slot. Currently, the club’s only two-way player is Damion Lee.
I just don't see Harkless recovering this season, so I think Olshey should cut him and pick up Tyler Ulis.
House might not be a bad guy for a 2-way contract even though I think one of those 2 spots should definitely be a big man.
When he decides on two-way players, I hope Olshey has more imagination than to just sign Oliver and Onnanukuku. Whitsitt used to make surprise finds, not just pursue big names (e.g. Shawn Kemp, George Karl, Kevin Calabro). Come on, Olshey, surprise us with an underrated find we've never heard of who makes good.
Shawn Kemp was the 17th pick and George Karl had already been a head coach for two other teams when he was hired in Seattle. Those are hardly surprise finds. Besides, isn't Stotts part of the Karl coaching tree?
Karl was in exile just starting to coach Real Madrid after brief 2-bit NBA coaching stints. Everyone immediately forgot about him...the few who had ever noticed in the first place. Neither Karl nor I thought he would ever return to the NBA, but Whitsitt just peeled him right off of his new contract and stole him that very week*. Karl busted back and had immediate explosive success with Sonic wins. *kind of like he did with Sabonis Kemp, who outplayed Karl Malone and Barkley every time he played them, was the PF of the half-decade, yet went only 17th, way higher than forecast.
