It hasn’t gone unnoticed that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga brought some sexual heat to their roles as doomed musician lovers in “A Star is Born.”

It also hasn’t gone unnoticed that the two gushed about each other constantly during the press tour for their film, which opened earlier this month to widespread acclaim and serious Oscar buzz.

There also was plenty of PDA between Cooper and Gaga at press events and premieres. When arriving for red carpet premieres in Venice, Toronto or the UK, the two held hands — a lot longer than you would expect of a man and woman who only talk about each other as good friends and admiring co-stars.

At the same time, both have been reported to be in serious relationships. Cooper has been dating Russian model Irina Shayk, the mother of his 18-month-old daughter, since 2015, according to Us Weekly. They have been famously private about their relationship and about becoming parents, though they made a rare public appearance at the Met Gala in May.

Meanwhile, Gaga became engaged to talent agent Christian Carino last November, though they haven’t set a wedding date, Us Weekly reported.

“They are very much in love,” a source told Us Weekly about Lady Gaga and Carino.

But are things still OK with Cooper and Shayk? That’s the question posed in two Page Six reports this week.

It may be that Cooper’s feeling something from his intense, soulmate-like connection with Lady Gaga — or from the pressures of being the star and director of one of this fall’s most beloved movies. In any case, Page Six reported Wednesday that Cooper was looking sulky while out on a dinner date with Shayk.

Spies at the restaurant Masa in the Time Warner Center said the couple didn’t look “happy” together.

“The couple sat down,” one said. “He was in a hoodie and she was fresh-faced — no makeup — and they barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal. Halfway through, she started looking off to the side and he was moody.”

In a followup report, Page Six quoted another source who said that Cooper and Shayk are “miserable together” and have been miserable for months.

One reason? They don’t seem to have certain things in common.

“He doesn’t drink and is into spirituality,” the source said. “She wants to go out.”

The source added that rumors of a troubled relationship have been simmering in the “big Russian model community” for months. Shayk also recently traveled alone to the Spanish island of Ibiza — perhaps because Cooper was busy gearing up to launch “A Star is Born.”

But another source told Page Six that any talk them being unhappy is “not true.” Cooper and Shayk were seen dining out at another New York restaurant on Thursday, looking “cozy and happy.”

In an interview with NPR, Cooper in fact credited his relationship with Shayk and becoming a father with giving him the incentive to settle down and figure out what he wanted to do for himself, personally and professionally, People reported. He said “having a family of my own” opened him up to new possibilities.

“I spent about 15 years going from movie to movie to movie. And then I hit 39 and I stopped and I said, ‘What do I really want to do?'” Cooper told NPR, according to People. “Then this story came to me, ‘A Star Is Born,’ and then I spent the next four years doing that. And the one thing that I know in the future is: It’s worth all the time to dedicate. Even if one piece of art comes out of it in half a decade, that would still be incredible.”

“A Star is Born” certainly turned out to be a labor of love for the first-time director. A lot of that had to do with finding his ideal co-star, Cooper has said. Cooper called Lady Gaga “a revelation” and said in interviews he couldn’t have made the movie without her.

“I think the biggest thing I learned is that sky’s the limit if you find a companion artistically, and you have a project,” he said, according to New York magazine’s The Cut. “There is no dreaming too big. What people can do together is so much more powerful than what they can do by themselves.”

He said the two had an “instant connection” when they first met. Some of that had to do with their East Coast roots and their shared love of Italian food.

“She came down the stairs and we went out to her patio and I saw her eyes, and honestly, it clicked and I went, ‘Wow,'” Cooper said at one press event. “She said, ‘Are you hungry?’ and I said, ‘I’m starving,’ and we went into her kitchen for spaghetti and meatballs.”

If Cooper has been grumpy recently, it could have to do with all the publicity commitments related to the film. A source told page Six, “He hates doing press, so he’s been a bit of a pill.”

Cooper was especially unhappy with a Sept. 27 New York Times profile of him that was headlined: “Bradley Cooper Is Not Really Into This Profile” and included these lines, “Cooper is not not happy to be on the press tour for ‘A Star Is Born’ . . . In fact, he’s very not not happy!”

The New York Times author wrote that Cooper didn’t like any of her questions, and certainly didn’t like answering questions about his personal life. “I don’t necessarily see the upside of it,” he said. “You know? I don’t.”

Sounds like he's going through the famous "Steve Mcqueen Mid-Career Crisis." Should I bang my model girlfriend or the pop star I'm currently ibfatuated with?! It's a hard lock life, Bradley.

If he's miserable, she's hardly a model girlfriend.
