If Price blows this one he's going to be running from mobs the rest of his time up there.

Price ?the POS(, became the first pitcher in MLB history with at least 10 postseason starts and zero victories. His teams are 0-10 in those 10 games and the ERA is the third worst among pitchers with 10 starts.

Red Sox pitchers walked 10 -- a franchise record for a nine-inning postseason game -- and hit three in their second loss, both at home, of this postseason.

:Teams up 2-0 in a best-of-seven series have gone 69-13 as far as winning their series -- that's 84.1 percent of the time. And road teams that opened 2-0 in a best-of-seven went on to win 22 of 25 series (or 88 percent). So if the Astros go up 2-0, with the next three games in Houston, things start looking pretty dire for Boston.

Although we all know percentages mean nothing after enduring the horrors of the 2004 ALCS. Yanx Up 3-0 vs Bosox...

    Side note-
The Astros have hit a homerun in 13 consecutive postseason games. May they hit 20 off of David Price.

Regardless of the outcome of this game, Boston has met more than they can handle.

I would love to see Boston get hammered.

Cole’s own error helps Sox take 5-4 lead. POS Price long gone.....too bad ‘Stros could have had
a BIGger BANG with him in there.

SOB.....a passed ball and two wild pitches* gets Betts home. Astros are not making these lucky
assholes earn it....they are giving it to them!

I thought that Houston went after Maldonado because of his defense. Must have too a left turn this evening.

McCullers enters the game in the 7th.

Benintendi strikes out on balls down in the dirt and Betts takes 2nd.

Another typical McCullers breaking ball down in the dirt to J D Martinez.

McCullers feeds Martinez a steady diet of breaking balls. Martinez strikes out . Martinez could not get anything on the ball....

Martinez has driven in 54% of Runners on third base with less than two outs. But not tonight.
With Bogaerts at bat McCullers could not lay off at the breaking shit down in the dirt and another one gets by Maldonado scoring Betts.
No fault of Maldonado, an endless series of Breaking balls, that last one was 4 feet outside down in the dirt; not a passed ball but a wild pitch.

Maldonado could easily play goalie for any hockey team.. Every pitch McCullers threw was in the dirt. One would think he would lay off of this breaking shit with a runner on third who easily scored.

I got to say McCullers threw some incredible breaking stuff, but threw one too many; allowing Betts to advance from first to second, second to Third, and easily walk home on the wild pitch...

McCullers walked Bogart's with one too many wild pitches.

Scorekeeper has called those passed balls and they are anything but passed balls, they were wild pitches dammit...

Josh James replaces McCullers and gets a ground out to Carlos Correa.

Top of the 8th and Kemp just misses a homerun, just inches outside the pesky Pole, while facing Porcello.

Kemp swings at strike 2 up in his eyes and Darling says a good bat by KEMP- WTF??

The American League- Kemp grounds out 3 to 1 for the out. One more step and Kemp would of beat Porcello to the bag.

Porcello throws strike three up in the eyes of marwin Gonzalez, 2 down.
    6-4 Bosox.

An interesting postseason so far in both leagues, watching all four teams utilizing starting pitchers as relievers...

Porcello retires Carlos Correa for the third out... SOB.
Porcello was working the ball up and then down and out keeping batters off-guard. Even though Kemp and Carlos Correa got some wood on the ball, could not keep the ball in play...

    Porcello stymies ‘Stros with a 1-2-3 8th inning.......basically with a wicked slider.
