    St. Louis (and Kansas City) have been trying to get basketball franchises for years. They lost out to Memphis of all places. Those markets are on the decline, whereas this one is booming. The Blazers also have a market monopoly - those other cities already have pro teams.

    Vegas was 17th in attendance.
    Vegas also had the most miraculous run of any sport that I can remember, nearly winning a chip in their inaugural season.
    And Golden Knights tickets are not the hottest ticket in town - far from it.
