[IMG]His daughter was suffering from a tumor disease between her eyes, but Derek Fisher still managed to show up midway throught the 3rd quarter and lead Utah to victory over the Warriors. He inspired his teamates to victory and played sound defense on one of the playoff's premeir talents: Baron Davis. Hats off to this hero!

I think there's a better word for Fisher than hero for his performance tonight. I mean he played well at the end, but there were others who stepped up tonight for the Jazz in the end too.

I think it's great that he came back to play, but the media is getting carried away. He didn't lead his team to victory, he put in a few quality minutes.

I remember when the pestilence was saying how Fish shouldn't play with the big boys....yeah........... Fish is one of the biggest guys I've seen ever, from his heart. Very, very inspirational.

He played a huge part in the win. His defense on Baron Davis in the last two minutes was what allowed Utah to push the game into OT.

What he did was definitely inspiring. For all the aspects of his game people overrate, Fisher is a masterful defender who plays with more heart than 90% of NBA players.

Derek Fisher is derek fisher first and foremost, yeah his comeback last night was fun to see. but he scored 5 points, at this point in his career(hell even his prime) he has very little impact.

Who cares what he puts up? He's an inspiration and role model and plays great defense. It's not about the scoring.

I don't think he's a hero. He should've stayed with his daughter. Get your priorities straight.

Good for Fisher, he played in a game, but I think we are overreacting. BALLAHOLLIC pointed out, Walter Hermman lost his mom, dad, sister, and girlfriend in the last two years and no one is calling him a hero. And Fisher did very little on defense, Baron burned him a few times, and the one time he looked good was on a questionable backcourt call. I'm almost certain that if Stephen Jackson did this however, he would be bashed for not being a family man.
