I’m quite sure we will be doing tributes to Mr. Allen throughout our game Saturday, our first broadcast.

Can we put our personal differences aside for a moment and talk?

I really hope so. I hope you guys create something truly special. Don't let the national media schedule dictate what we can see and what we cant. Please broadcast at a time/manner that you know will not have any side effects or conflicts that leave it to the channel to decide if it airs or not. I don't know what pull you guys have on that aspect, but I'm hoping enough to tell them when you want it to happen and not the other way around.

Hating the Lakers has nothing to do with predicting where they will finish. I hate them as much as anybody.

I predict I will hate them and I predict the worst for them.

That's how that works, no other way.

Of course. Those a-holes will want to come watch the Blazers square off with the Warriors just to see how class teams do things.

Harkless is officially listed as probable and he said he'd be limited to about 20 minutes. I don't really understand what is going on and I'm not a doctor but if he's still having complications from a minor surgery several months ago shouldn't they shelve him until they figure out why?

I’m just going to assume Harkless will start if he plays.

The interesting thing to watch will be the second unit, especially against the small ball Lakers. I would go with Layman instead of Leonard, with Collins moving to center.

We need more options in the poll. Playoffs: 1st Round is close, but I specifically want Playoffs: 1st Round and Swept by the Blazers. That way we get to enjoy the Laker fans' salty tears, we get to see the Kobe LeBron jersey wearing, bandwagon Golden State Laker fans slink out of the Moda Center with their tails tucked between their legs, and no lottery pick for them in the 2019 draft.

Not sure is Moe will start as he played zero minutes in the preseason.

Yeah, Layman at the 4 and Collins at the 5 would be an effective small ball line up.

I know you hate Leonard, but I also woundn't mine seeing a Curry, Stauskas, Turner, Layman, Meyers unit for a few minutes. We've been hearing all this talk of surrounding Turner with shooters. I'd actually like to see what that looks like and if there is any hope of getting something positive out of Turner (either on the floor or in a trade).

My guess, its not complications but simply comfortability. He could be healed to the point of not being able to do more damage but still not 100% comfortable/strengthened. Knee injury's suck.

I was kind of thinking they should leave Paul Allen's seat open for the season and maybe beyond. Kind of like retiring a jersey but in this case a seat.
