I have YouTube TV and it just records the block assigned. It doesn't let you adjust... Although I never checked

The threes Aminu gets are a lot different than the ones Dame gets.

Top shooters average closer to 50% on “wide open” looks (defined as 6+ feet from closest defender.) Curry for example shot 48%. Ingles same thing. Klay 50%. (Stauskas 47% hehe.) So Aminus 37% isn’t really that impressive, in context, considering a majority of his shots would fall under “wide open.”

The whole point of Stotts playing him at the four is for his “spacing” ability. I’m just hoping Collins gets more consistent with his shot so we can finally move Aminu back to the three, or to the bench.

Seems funny, now days we are criticizing 4's for not be able to shoot 40 plus % on threes.
Lets pick our poison, AFA, ZACK, Leonard, Layman. At this point t i guess AFA has a better all around game but not by much.

Exactly! You cannot even compare the two. When Dame is at the arc he is getting double teamed by his man and Aminu's man. Because they want him to pass the ball to Aminu. If Aminu had a stretch of games where he was able to hit WIDE open 3's then maybe teams would start to rethink this strategy. But remember if they rethink that defense, then they are allowing Dame and CJ one on one looks. The Blazers become a juggernaut on offense. It also opens up the lanes and Nurk becomes a huge problem for teams.

Yeah. Another reason why Collins should start. Maybe he’s not as consistent with his jumper, but he can do more offensively than just shoot open threes. His passing alone makes him an upgrade.

What about Harkless at 4? Lillard-Mccollum-Stauskas-Harkless-Nurkic/Collins in a closing Line-Up in the 4th is pretty good

I’d like to see a starting lineup of Dame-CJ-Sauce-Collins-Nurk... lots of size inside on defense and Stauskas shooting threat opens up a lot on offense... I just can’t understand why Aminu is so locked in as a starter. He is way too unreliable of a shooter.

Defense and rebounding. Same reason we need Collins in the second unit.

For some reason i still belive in Harkless, i Don't know why, Maybe because he's one of my favourite Players on the Roster, if we get motivated Harkless over a Full Season, he has to be in a Line-Up with Lillard every single night. Stotts Must then make a decision between Nurkic and Collins at Center if we choose to Go with 3 guard line up..

After one game some of you are ready to move Stauskas into the starting lineup? I was as impressed as anyone by his performance, but then Layman’s first game as a Blazer also was impressive. Maybe we ought to wait a couple of games before we conclude how consistent he’s going to be? He and Curry were brought in to team with Turner to provide second unit scoring punch. I think that’s the role they will continue to play this season.

Wouldn't Aminu and Harkless on the second unit accomplish the same thing?

Hark has some great blocks but neither are rim protectors which is the core of good D.

I was thinking something along those lines a while back. I'm a good free throw shooter. I was thinking Dame probably shoots uncontested threes the way I shoot free throws. And with about the same effort.

You said defense and rebounding, not rim protection...
