Mam is the perfectly appropriate term. PERFECTLY Do not let an 'asshole' ruin your otherwise great day. Oh, and I commend you for recognizing the showing of good sportsmanship. Good sportsmanship is always a stellar quality as exemplified by Damian Lillard and your son and his dad and his mom, I'm sure.
I once flew on the same airplane as the mayor of Rashneeshpuram. I didn't know who he was but I couldn't help but notice all the red clothing which included a red hat, red shoes, red socks, everything red. I thought to myself "Only in America". When I got off the plane my buddy picked me up to take me home and said to me "Did you see the mayor of Rashneeshpruam? He was on the plane with you." Immediately I knew who he was talking about.
Have you watched "Wild Country" on Netflix? Nice documentary of those crazy days of the folks in red. Ma Anand Sheela was a piece of work.
Never seen it although I've seen other documentaries as well as a lengthy Oregonian article that I read.
The entire OP is about mocking liberal feminist word-changers. Unless (and I'm happy to be disabused of this notion), there's a set of Hillary-hating women out there begging and pleading to be called "womyn" and that forms of respect are not longer to be used. In which case I post memes reminding me of them too, if it comes up. In either case, I'm not sure you're qualified to tell me what I'm reminded of when stories like this get posted.
I said no ma'm try to be respectful and kids were around us too. Im not are what her political preference is but the dude she was with, 50's had green, red & blue hair?
That's pretty weird right there. I wonder if she was mentally handicapped. My brother was mentally ill and got beat up all too often for saying the wrong thing.
The Guardian and Salon and others posit so....is that a pejorative now? Do you think she isn't? Similar to referring to Ocasio-Cortez as a "democratic socialist"--the words kind of mean what she says, whether or not people like them.
Ive been at their compound several times as a generator/transfer vendor. Always had to go through three check point on the way inside. They always treated us OK but were very suspicious. Their Hotel was also a casino of sorts and remember once when they all went outside to bow as the Baagwan cam by in his RR.
No Im sure she wasn't. I could tell she was passionate about what she was saying and communicated clearly. My impression was she was an extreme women's libber. But I'm not sure if she was wearing a bra or not? lol
