I recently quit my job and went into business for myself as a writer. Great thing to be able to make your own schedule. Anyway, it's given me a lot of flexibility in my life, and I was thinking about flying across the country and finally seeing the Blazers play live and in person sometime in the near future. I know they always seem sold out, though. How hard is it to get tickets? And, if I do manage to make the trip, what other things in Portland should I make sure to see.
It's fairly easy to get them on seatgeek, or some other third-party site, just know you'll be paying a premium. If you're going by yourself, it's super easy. but anything more than 2 tickets is tougher. Honestly, for Portland... go to Multnomah Falls. Get out to the mountains. There's some good parks in Portland, but the real treats are about 45 minutes to an hour away.
There are plenty of season ticket holders on here. One of us can probably help you out. Even with fees, sometimes you can do better in the resale market depending on the game.
Fly to LA and watch a clippers and blazers game with blazer fans LA. 200 level tix for 35 bucks. We usually get good access to the team during shootaround But Moda Center is way better, even the 300s. Blazer tix at Moda are just like 3x the price of a clippers game. Yoiu can sit like 3 rows from the blazers bench for like 150 bucks in LA.
Hopefully, above average ... Actually, I'm still writing sports freelance, but I actually just finished my first novel and have started my second. I also wrote a script a couple of months ago and I did a children's book. And I am working on a few other smaller projects on the side.
