    The opening of The Allman Brothers Whipping Post always scared the bejesus out of me for some reason. Something about that low bass with that double clash of guitar.

    Excellent, I've always been a big Steve Winwood/Traffic/Blind Faith fan.

    Picked this one up about a month ago:

    It's basically a live Traffic album, but this copy is a US first issue, which only lists the individual members by name. Later issues list the individuals on the front, but added Traffic on the spine.

    That was my favorite track off Back in the High Life. It includes a couple longer extended mixes of Freedom Overspill, as well as an extended remix of Higher Love.

    Hard to believe they were only together about 4 months, during which time they completed a tour and that great album.

    Of course, the break up of Blind Faith led to the reformation of Traffic and freed up Clapton to team up with Duane Allman for Derek and the Dominos.

    I'm actually stunned by how good it sounds. I know I shouldn't be. I've seen all the reviews and the praise for this pressing, but wow, just WOW!

    Hey, can you all do me a favor if you got a few minutes. Todd Rundgren fans are trying to get him voted into the Rock N' Roll HOF this year. He's a finalist for the first time and we are trying to stuff the ballot box, so to speak, of the fan vote. He's one of my all time favorite artists and heroes. It would mean a lot to me if you took the time and voted for him.
