When Kwame Brown and Ricky Davis are the best expiring contracts, you will have a poor free agency class.

No they aren't the best expiring contracts in value. This thread wasn't about who's gonna be a free agent in 2008. It was more about trade assetts that teams have to match salaries with a superstar like KG. Expiring contracts are very valuable. Think of it like this..you replace a 3-year 12 million dollar contract with a 1-year 12 million dollar contract. Think of the cap space the next year.

Also, I don't think this takes into account players who can opt-out of their contracts.

Release Lorenzen, and AJ. They're both garbage. Lue is a high energy guy, that can bring some positive things off the bench in the future.

D12 will unfortunately get a fat extension this offseason and stay in Orly.

If I was the Miami Heat GM, I would not re-sign Jason Williams, let Gary Payton retire, and get an underrated guard such as Sarunas Jasikevicius or Steve Blake.

With the Celtics, youth, and Ratliff's contract I can see them able to land a big name player. Also Kwame,Odom,1st Round Pick, Kevin Garnett(McHale is stupid enough)

We will likely not resign Sarunas and Zarko but I'm not sure about Pietrius I still think he cost the Warriors game two but o well. He needs to get smarter on the court and now what the situation is. When he does that he will probaky be resigned but if he doesn't then we probaly won't resign him.

Pietrus is a basketball idiot. He constantly brain farts, and this series it has been brain diaherrea. If we resign him, we are in for a long time of dumb play.
