I think it was like a few days ago, there was a rugby game between two high schools in our area 'Lorne Park' and 'Erindale' and here's what happened...a guy from lorne park "manny castillo" had "casey cazekas"(guy from erindale) in a headlock and so casey picked him up by his legs and flipped him over, making him land on his neck. he was down for like 10 minutes until they finally realized it was serious so they called 9-1-1 and he was taken away by helicopter to a sick kids hospital in toronto and was put on life support. a day later they announced that he had passed away. the casey guy was arrested and released on bail, now he has to goto court and could very well end up in jail with manslaughter. I read on a news site that hes facing aggravated assault charges...its very sad to see things like this happen, very unneccessary things... the father of manny said that he did not want to sue casey because he didnt want to involve another teen in more trouble than he already is.im too lazy to get u a link, but the schools have already given out newsletters to parents and in the letters they even say 'We do not believe he will survive'.reason why I know the casey guy's name (since usually they dont tell u the bad guys name) is because I know people from that school erindale and everybody has been talking about it so his name has been leaking out...
Sad situation for all involved. I know that kid probably didn't mean any real harm, let alone kill him.
Sad. f*cking hate stuff like this because it isn't his fault.. all kids do this stuff, he was just extremly unlucky.
to make it even worse, the guy who is facing the charges(casey) was drafted to the OHL( a provincial hockey league) just before the accident happened...this had to have ruined his future one way or the other... man, how worse can it get
