http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6805790?MSNHPHMA I honestly don't care. We are heading in a new direction, loading up just for Favre's retirement tour is the wrong thing for our franchise. Aaron Rodgers needs to get some experience under his belt.
That's pretty surprisng. The Packers have been so loyal, what a douche. Just finish out your career there, jeez.

Though, I do think he should retire (and should have already).
He isn't a douche. He did this because the Packers didn't trade for Moss and all they had to do was take 3 million out of his contract which he requested so that the deal could go through and they refused.
I don't think they're helping him out too much when the draft a DT or don't trade for a great WR. The only thing GB did was draft Brandon Jackson which was a great pickup, I think Favre needs to stick around and see what this kid can do. Favre, Jackson, Driver and Jennings seems like a pretty good offensive unit.
I can't believe he would do that. He continues to be indecisive about retiring, which has slowed down the rebuilding process by keeping Rodgers from getting experience and now he wants to leave them after they were nice enough to keep him around?
OMG, dumb. You need to play with them for your whole career. But your welcome to backup Romo in Dallas.
The Packers did have a really crappy draft, but what a little baby.... He wants the Packers management to cater his needs when he is only playing one more season? Come on... The Packers are going in a different direction.I don't know what he is thinking anyway....Does he think he'd be a starter on any other team? Not likely...What happened to his loyalty to the Packers? Just a bonehead decision....He should retire a Packer...

He may start over Grossman in Chicago, because it seems the whole state of Illinois hates him. He would start in Cleveland and Oakland, letting their first rounders sit a year and learn from one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. If the Trent Green deal falls through he'd start in Miami. He'd start in Tampa Bay, he'd start in Washington, he'd start in Houston. He would start all over the place. You guys are all right that he shouldn't have gone public with his opinions, but it seems like he didn't REALLY want to be traded. He was just steamed.

I think the Raiders are content on starting JaMarcus this year...They already know that they won't be going anywhere anyway, so it would be better for him to just get some experience. Houston just got Matt Schaub too...They want him to be their starting QB...Alot of the teams you mentioned would probably NOT go out and get him anyway...I just don't know why he wants a trade...
I used to like him but he's really pissed me off the past few years. I don't care if you think you're the greatest QB ever, you don't screw your team over like this. They should trade him to the Raiders and he can back up Russell haha.
I really dont understand why he doesn't retire. He's not gonna win anything with his current team and I doubt he's gonna be traded. It's not like he can prove anything else, he's already one of the top QBs.

I guess I just took your comment too extreme. You're right though, it was a prick move.
I think over the years brett has proven a great qb(maybe the best of alltime) but he has also made an ass of himself on several occasions.(Javon walker holdout,''wont mentor aaron rodgers'',demands a trade because they dont get randy moss) and that's just in the last 2 years.

I agree with everything else you said, we can't make an offseason dedicated to Favre's needs when we don't know how long he'll be here, it's pretty selfish, we have to build for the future.
Favre could drive the future of this organization into the ground if he's not careful. He's almost like a side show now. If I were Aaron Rogers, I would be close to be asking to be dealt. Favre is not only taking his experience away but he is no causing a disturbance. You won your super bowl favre, you were a great QB, one of the best in the league, for many years, but it's about time for this guy to go.
