What a scary and exhilarating experience. I had a little bit of trouble. I changed lanes a couple times without using the turn signal and almost hit a car. I also almost went up on the curb a couple times, but overall I think I did pretty well. I mastered the turn today and learned how to get to the gas station and fill 'er up.
Never make a left turn. It could possibly be the worst decision in your life, next to getting married of course

I learned in Driver's Ed though, the right turn is your friend.

The dangerousness of freeways is overrated. The only highways that are actually scary are the ones that are in downtown areas, because there's a shitload of ramps all over the place going in different directions. If you have to make a turn, sometimes you have to get to the other side of the highway. Otherwise, the only dangerous thing about highways is that they will bore you to f*cking tears. Trust me, I've driven from Louisiana to Georgia, then Alabama to Texas.
Justice you're kind of right. I find driving on a freeway pretty easy. You just go. But there always is that one ass hole dad in a mini van getting the kids to day camp
Driving is overrated... it might be fun for you now, but after you get your license, you'll probably get bored of it quick... especially with these damn gas prices! But, congrats. At least you didn't kill anybody on your first day!
The first time my brother drove, he crashed into a tree trying to parallel park at home. He then drove into the mailbox getting out lol. I think I can get my restricted next year at age 15. Im not sure what age u have to be to get the restricted.
Oh man - I remember when driving was exciting...now I hate it. Driving to Detroit everyday blows...I need a driver or something.but Congrats to you ASU - don't get in any accidents.
I've driven before....not in the city or anything...but out by this cottage that we rent out...It's fun as hell, although I got a little paranoid...I was scared to death that I was going to drive off the road, or miss a turn or something. The one thing that I hate is that it is really hard to stop properly. You have to put your foot on the brakes really lightly, but if you do it too lightly, it will just slow a bit, but it won't stop...

I got my license today so that was pretty fun. When I took my picture my mom made me laugh so had to take my picture twice and on the second one I kind of roughed up my shirt and hair to make it look real ugly to make my mom mad. Now that I think about it I'm going to have to live with that on my driver licenses for a while but whatever lol. Driving on the express way is so easy and boring but my mom won't even let me drive down to the palace by myself yet, she claims its because of the police and how quick they are to pull over young people. Ain't got my car yet either so it pretty much sucks right now but driving is alright, I just like being able to come and go as I please without waiting on anyone.

Just kidding, I shouldn't be talking.
I hate changing lanes... I'm good at everything else.I only found it fun the first 2 times though, now I'd rather not drive.
Changing lanes are so easy, just turn on you blinker, check your mirrors, check your blindspot and move over quickly. One thing I hate doing is coming out of the parking lot of places like wal mart or the mall, big places like that. I just hate pulling out not being able to really see.
