With us in the trenches of social media, and news spreading faster than ever and division among the world... what is the next thing for humans? How will we fix it? How do we become better as a human? Because where we are now is heading towards something that feels inevitably nefarious.

I am super worried what the next 20 years are going to look like. There is hope, yes? There is hope for humans, right? Because this division is out of control, and we need solutions to unite.

Its almost unfathomable. Like we are regressing.

Was the 60's the pinnacle, and ever since then we have been at a falling point? The 60's were all about getting everyone to treat each other equally. Peace and love.

Now it feels like the opposite. Like we are teaching the future how to hate and divide.

I'M with ya Stren. I don't care to think about it much because it is indeed depressing.

We are supposed to be more advanced than ever. More aware than ever. More items and options to help educate ourselves than ever, yet it seems these tool s are only used for verbal warfare and not self improvement.

I do still believe the first step of the answer is sound and has been the same since the beginning of time.

Treat others how you would like to be treated. Do the right thing. 99% of us know when we are doing the wrong thing, when we are being selfish, arrogant, prickasses. We need to look into ourselves as individuals in everyday life, not just retrospect in a conversation, but when actually in the midst of things, and make sure we are not doing what we don't want done to us.

Kindness can go such a long ways in turning a scowling face into a happy one and then hopefully trhat happy one does the same and the chain reaction begins. But until we take responsibility for our individual actions in every day life, we will probably keep regressing.

I do have an issue with this country and I don't know how to solve it. The freedoms that we have ( and I love these freedoms) also paves the way for selfish people to step on others.

I think in this country we are getting fed up with that selfishness. I'M not saying its wrong for someone to work hard and stock up money. But we need to stop cutting in line, pushing others aside to try to get ahead. We need to help all get on top.
