OB, I get your frustration man. I don't encourage or support insults. I don't think any of the mods do. Imagine the difficulty of deleting/editing insults all day. It is a job to moderate all of it. And we get to all of it or as much as possible. Sometimes we miss things. But, sometimes its just people not owing their shit and not insults. Just don't talk to those posters. Don't reply to them. It will be sad to see you go man. I hope you change your mind.
What about my frustration? He started off insulting my post and then goes ballistic because I said "lighten up buttercakes" and he goes ballistic whining all over the forum about it. I hardly ever read or respond to his posts because they usually go this route and then he plays the victim. I'm tired of it as well.

Is "buttercakes" a personal insult? Honestly, I looked at that said no. Platy looked at it and said no. But you insisted that it was insulting you to so I edited his post. I honestly looked it up in the Urban Dictionary to see maybe I'm missing something and even posted that link. I did see one thing that was pretty damn offensive but even you didn't go in that direction. You read one of the definitions and tried to make the argument that Cup was calling you a woman, I read a different definition and was glad you didn't assume Cup wanted to jack a load in your face. But again, how Cup used "buttercakes" didn't really fit either of our worst case scenario definitions from the Urban Dictionary. But also remember, I have already edited his post. It is no longer about you and instead, using the urban dictionary, means that Cup now wants to jack a load in my face. While that is going on you're making accusations about platy and myself claiming that we're not doing anything to Cup because we have a bias, and this was a first in the Wheel of Bias, against newer members. You totally get originality points for that one. Which I politely explained that is not the case. Now during that Cup is stirring the pot, which we all acknowledge that he does so I end up editing a 2nd one of his posts and deleting another. So let's review: 1 of your posts edited. 2 of Cup's posts edited, 1 deleted. So you're still claiming that we're favoring Cup over you and have via PM asked to have your account deleted. I told you there is no way to do that. I will tell you here again publicly, there is no way to delete an account. In the years I have moderated this forum I have had many people get upset and ask to have their account deleted. The vast majority of the time they cool off and are using it again in a few days. When we ban someone their account and posts aren't deleted. You can still read their posts. The only thing that I can do is search for everyone of your posts and delete them each individually. I'm sorry, I did that one time for a Blazer employee when we became the official forum of the Blazers as a courtesy and that took days. I love you OB but I am not going to go into 1000s of threads and delete 12,500+ of your posts. If you don't want to post here then that truly makes me sad. I know you're a huge Blazer fan. I know you've had some great times, made some friends, and won at least one really nice prize. Now I just got home and the first thing I did is sit down and address your posts. This is more a treatise than a post. I would like to point out that I too am thinking of quitting. Can I get a free beer or two, especially since I plan on seeing you soon? (of course, I'm not thinking of quitting but don't tell Sly that 'cause I want my free beer, shhhh).
I get it now a about deleting the account. What i need to do is turn off emails so i dont get notifications for things and be disciplined to just not log in. Your timeline is a bit off, as i asked for the deletion prior to deleting of his posts, but no worries. Here is the thing that has just killed the fun out of this place for me. Not one of you stood up and said anything in response to hcp when he said, says i ruin the forum. To me, if you allow him to say that in a private discussion like that and dont spwak up, then i can only assume you all agree with him. Hell, you included slypokercat in the convo of which i dont even know who he is and he told me to get overmyself and thst not one person has wvee had an issue with hcp which i know for a fact is not true. Then he deleted, or somene, deleted the post. I own my shit. I have fully admitted i have taken things too far with hcp. You guys have access to every peivate message and post on here, so you know i have nwver actively tried or even suggested i wanted to do something outside of here to gst him fired. The only thing even close was once when natebishop messaged me about talking to hom and deleting a post of mine asking if the blazers brass would feel about him actively being rude to new members around here. I said well then he would deserve it and something like karma is real or something. Anyhow, you let him slander me without saying a word refuting this claim that i tried to take bread off his dinner table. These are the things that i see as biased. I made up that story about not ever having an issue with hcp and just playing games and this is just a forum, because i was mocking hcp. Nobody got it. I left for weeks after our private convo and was brought back by being informed i was being outed by hcp about our private conversation. And yet i am the one ruining the forum. I tried to leave Discreetly. Obviously if no one is going to speak up and correct hcp in his claim then everyone must agree with him, considering how often most people are quick to speak up about ANYTHING they disagree with. So yeah if im ruining the forum i own my shit. Ill make it better cor everyone. This thread in itself with cup is just surface bs. There are a couple recent threads where i was conversing with people about the homeless or the latest shooting and both hcp and cup came out me for whatever reason. Hcp said im fucking clueless right off the top. But if i return banter in kind, i ruin the forum and people call me a whiner. Its this type of hypocrisy that continues to grow and i seee bias. Not just in mods but in members here. One of the threads even cup got called out by h.c. And cups excuse was he didnt know our history. So its okay for. Up to come at me like that but if i do the same, like in this thread im a whine and a buttercake and whatever. This again is what i consider hypocritical and honestly taking over the forum. There are more than a few members now that it seems enjoy nothing more than making posts aimed at baiting, trolling or triggering others. I have, do and will continue to own my shit with regard to the lack of discipline to move on and dismiss without Tossing smack back. What gets me is how so many see it as me whinkng and not getting after the instigator. Its soo true in life, the retaliator is most often the one punished and the original offender gets off free. But as long as im going to be considered a whiner and have ruined the forum while the instigators as so beloved, its clear this is not a place for me.

It's unfortunate, but there are many posters on this forum who have the singular objective of baiting others. I have the good majority of them on ignore. These few posters, make the VOLUNTEER mods do more work than is necessary. Sometimes it feels like these few posters get off on making the mods work. You've got a couple options here @Orion Bailey Ignore people like I do. Stop coming to the forum, like I did. Spoiler (rejoined 8 months later when my school relaxed a bit. I returned to a pm of @SlyPokerDog apologizing for what happened and telling me action was taken. Whatever that meant. He then asked what my school was, I told him and he told me I'd make a good mod. We laughed.) Or continue to allow these posters to bait you. At the end of the day no one can make that decision for you, but you. (hopefully you're not like another poster who I mentioned this to and choose to continue to let it bother you) Technically when I call x post moronic. So you actually think that because I didn't disagree with the dumb shit HCP was saying that that means I agree with him? What about the dumb shit you said to him? And yes, I brought in other staff so they could see what was going on because of the arguments you two were having in the main forum. They were there to read what you two posted instead of getting my interpretation of it. I included @SlyPokerCat because under a different moniker he has been our longest tenured mod here. He has been invaluable in his advice and insight. I and other staff members were deleting tons of posts between you two. That's why I tried to get you two to hash it out and end it via private conversation. I was not there to pick a side. Not picking a side doesn't mean I agreed with either of you. I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Yes and I was fucking pissed that he did that and called him out about it both publicly and privately. It was a bullshit thing to do. I saw that @PtldPlatypus seemed to be doing a great job of editing out the insults but when you guys started arguing about a block by block basis where there are homeless and where there aren't my eyes glazed over and I dipped the fuck out. But I deleted and edited when he said you were a whiner. I also edited the buttercakes thing. That should be enough to tell you that it's not okay. I'm still not sure about the buttercakes thing. Still not sure if that was really a personal insult. I like butter and cake so I will talk with others on staff to see if we should include all bakery ingredients and items in the personal insult rule. The whiner was deleted. Ruining the forum wasn't exactly what was said but whatever, it was said in private to you by someone by your own words you don't think highly off at all. You're the only one validating that by bringing it up.
