    Sounds like a pre-existing condition.

All I'm saying is you're talking to conservatives about liberals.

Ever heard of the saying straight from the horse's mouth?

Don't ask conservatives about liberals unless you just want to hear your own narrative. If you actually WANT to garner a new perspective, seek those out who may have a different one than yours.

Go make some liberal friends. You're free to.

I have plenty of liberal friends and no I'm not just talking with just conservatives. I respect others point of views even if they I don't totally agree.
Maybe you should go make some conservative friends and seek some new perspective. Life is a balance.

If you name it "tax cut" Congress will do it for you. #BAM

(Sorry to hear about it, I am sure it is painful and I hope you feel better soon).

My best friend is a black conservative. I have intimate conversations with conservatives all the time. They, however, are able to take in and use that info. They don't just let it bounce off

Then you should stop painting us all as tax and spend liberals.

That name was made up by Frank Luntz.

    You should stop parroting him.

Hard liquor, YES. Beer and wine, NO. I get my hard liquor at the PX where there is no tax on it, State or Federal. I get my beer and wine here. Yep, I'm shameless.

Im changing to an independent from libertarian but I vote, conservative, liberal or moderate.

I have herds of friends here in the NW & the midwest that are democrats, none to far left though. They all know I've been both and really am not straight ticket kind of guy. Ive never had any big arguments with them or they with me as we respect each others personal views. Most of my demo friends are flag waving, patriotic, deer hunting & fishing, hard working gals and guys. Many are vets and like me with kids in the service.
I will say that the midwestern ones look at the left coast as another world. I always tell them it's not as bad as the everyone says.

I was raised in a Democratic household, however, I've been an Independent for many years now. I agree with Democrats on some issues and Republicans on some issues. Overall, I find I am a moderate in my political views rather than the extreme of either side.

I'm guessing you don't call them a racist every time they don't parrot your opinions, because that's a real conversation killer.

Actually, another 4 years of Dem rule and Oregon can file for bankruptcy and all PERS recipients will be looking for jobs as Walmart greeters..

There is no such thing as a low paying government job in Oregon.

The State of Oregon pays nearly twice what the private sector pays for most jobs, and has ridiculously exhorbitant benefits.

Besides, with the added taxes Brown wants on gas you won't be able to get here 4 years from now.
