Nobody should ever be allowed to personally attack a posters family member. That is one thing that should be an automatic suspension.
We agree. Mods were just discussing that earlier this week. Don't know if I agree with that, but thank you for your input.
Maybe if you guys did a few more suspensions for serious violations you would have less issues. Editing a post by deleting the offended name and inserting slypokerdog in instead is extremely weak as you are still allowing the attack. It should be deleted completely. Maybe it is time for me to look elsewhere as well as it gets tiresome.
I edited the post. People are free to insult me or my mother. She's a nice lady but if someone really needs to insult a mother I guess I'll volunteer mine. If the OT section of a basketball forum isn't meeting your political discussion needs then please, by all means, find an other place that does. May I suggest Reddit. Lot's of different political sub forums where it should be easy to find one to your liking.

Umm, well sorry if you thought it a cheap shot. But then I don't know if you saw my original poor attempt or not. I did remember to think of you telling me of your studies on the subject at Oregon State I believe it was. My only real exposure to the mushroom industry was having to drive by the mushroom farm to and from work when I worked at Santa Teresa laboratories. And then it was only an issue due to Caesar Chavez having his striking workers block us from getting home everyday. It was a remote area and they would march in the roadway home, the only way out but for going the about 35 miles around in the opposite direction. I sort of think that is when the joke about how to raise mushrooms got a start. Keep them in the dark and feed them shit. Well probably not really funny. I guess I have no idea why I should think of welfare or other government programs. But in any case, no offense was intended nor did my weak attempt to be humorous need to be edited.
Speaking of mods, I hope you realize that they're all out to get you. It's the number one item of conversation at our regular Monday meetings. Oops, did I just say that out loud?
