You are doing a huge discredit to the forum's credibility by dragging this out. You've had your fun at my personal expense for no reason that I can fathom, but you continue to preach against insulting/attacking posters while giggling to yourself about insulting/attacking me. I agree with you 100% in your intent to keep the discussion civil and prohibit insults. However, we would not agree exactly on when this line is crossed. It is not so black and white, more a matter of intent and of the character types of the participants needs to be understood. And I haven't named anything after @MARIS61. Years ago under the old forum software Denny renamed this emoticon after @MARIS61. @MARIS61 is now suddenly claiming that it is a personal insult. I have/had nothing to do with it. I had zero experience with that part of the forum software and was hesitant to mess with it for fear of screwing something up. But last night I go in and remove Maris61 from the emoticon.
Perhaps it is a perception, possible even misguided. Or perhaps not. Maris seem to detect it. I wonder why you would attempt to intimidate me. I am quite sure you would know that is not to be. but....
I remember when I got offended at a drawing. I was in 4th grade and my younger sister drew me with blonde hair instead of brown. It still chaps my ass when I think about it.
