    One thing this year is becoming very apparent. If teams don’t bring energy on defense against the Blazers then the Blazers will light them up.

    Told my friend we were winning by 15+ tonight.
    That there was zero chance we'd shoot 6-35 from deep again.

    They are pretty much guaranteed. You'd have to have a clear-cut case as the team to fire someone without pay. If a coach resigns, he doesn't get the money and can't coach anyone else during the time of the contract period. That's why coaches almost never resign.

    I agree with you, but no one knows what happened last year.
    Did he try to help them get better?
    If he did, they clearly didn't listen.
    I think there is a better way, but I get Butler's frustration.
