To me, words are never justification for fighting. Period. If you need to defend yourself, absolutely, throw those hands. I'm perfectly capable of trading verbal barbs with someone. If they want to open that door, I can break them down like the little child that they are. I don't need to get physical.
Have you ever been hit by a basketball thrown at you when you were an adult? Ouch, that really really hurts. I think it's justification for beating the little worm senseless. I say send the kid to the hospital with multiple broken bones and serious cuts and bruises. Yeah, maybe poke out one of his eyes. It makes me so angry that I'm gonna go out and look for a 14 year old child and send him to the hospital. Yeah, that'll show 'em who's boss.
