I tend to lean left on this issue. If we can afford to constantly stick our dicks in other countries' affairs, we should be able to afford to not shit all over our own citizens when they get sick. Subtract a couple billion from the "bomb other countries" fund and add it to the "medical assistance for legal citizens" fund. Seems like basic math to me.

I agree the US should be constrained from making war to make money, but the reasons for high costing healthcare and insurance have nothing to do with that. Laws and regulations can be passed to crush those costs, as has happened with telephone service and other utilities, but ALL of Congress refuses to even think about it because they are all despicable thieves. All of them. No exceptions. They could accomplish it in one session, but their souls have been purchased by the healthcare industry. Nothing socialist about it. It's Capitalism at it's finest. It's pretty much the same as tariffs imposed by other countries, and he's treating drugs the same as Nikes and Chevys, forcing other countries to either back down or be crushed economically for gouging us. The end result will be better days for all concerned, at the expense of billionaire deep state financiers. He promised this in his campaign and like everything else he promised he is following through.

What about his promise to make Mexico pay for the Wall? I thought that was one of the first things he was going to accomplish when he took office. Also, what about his promise to work with everyone in Congress including the Democrats? I haven't seen any of that. And then there's his promise to eliminate, or nearly eliminate murder in Chicago. What's going on with that? Again, wasn't Obama Care high on his list of things to eliminate? Now, here it is more popular than ever. The deficit was going to be reduced to zero in his first year and now it's skyrocketing out of control. Should I go on? Wasn't he going to do nothing but work? No time for golf.
