<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Last summer, when the Lakers played in the SPL at Long Beach State, there were just three other NBA teams -- Washington, Memphis and Dallas. That won't be the case this summer. Like so many of their NBA brothers, the Lakers have moved on to play in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas this July.Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak said the reason for the change is simple."There was nobody to play against," Kupchak said by phone from Barcelona, Spain, where he is scouting. "I can't sugarcoat it. As you know, you have to go where the competition is."</div>http://www.pe.com/sports/basketball/lakers...13.40d7419.htmlWell, I am a bit disappointed that I won't be able to just drive there anymore for the Summer Pro League games. But I am also glad in a way, that they are finally moving to where everyone else is playing. They will actually be televised on NBAtv, as they weren't when they played Long Beach. And if I can go, I will be able to take a trip to Vegas while also going to a few of the Laker Summer games. :dribble:

That sucks that another summer league bit the dust. now I think there is only 3 summer leagues left. Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Boston.
